Stephen Jones was absolutely sensational in this match. Such a shame what O'Gara did

Are there any better supporters in world sport than the Lions fans. To go to a rugby mad nation, thousands of miles from home and have two thirds of the stadium is frankly incredible. When you first look at the pictures you do a double take as you think they are empty red seats.

So many tackles here are disgustingly illegal and dangerous. I like a lot of these but honestly, I wouldn’t want a player new to the game thinking that these are the “GREATEST” tackles ever when, if replicated, there would be lots of concussions and broken necks.

The fact you consider Farrels career defining cheat on AE says a lot as revenge & Tuilagi [Manu] elbow to JDV the jaw moral revenge for fair hits, is interesting.

These are merely aggressive players. Go back to the 70's and early 80's and you meet some truely dirty players. While bBakkies was bad there were more like or worse than him. Cholley is an obvious candidate and some of the South Frican club level players that did not make many caps. Also there is less film of them of those days available. If you watch some of those games it is a different game to the one played today. The 90's rule changes, coaches and extra cameras cleared this up. Even refs were in on it in so much as Wayne Dooley instructing the ref as he woke from a rare knock out " Do not let that bloke off the pitch!!" Indeed as a big man in the forwards if you were not prepared to bend a head or two you would not make selection at the top end of the game.
