Suffering / Happiness all take place within awareness. We are aware of these states but the awareness does not suffer/ happy it allows both and is aware of it. When we suffer we have a choice to become involved in it as a story or step back into awareness. Suffering occurs in the mind and is known.

The world is then lit up as the reflection of Heaven , and one realises that there never was any separation from God. It was all just a silly dream.

"Memory cannot record consciousness, cannot record reality." Why do people believe what ever someone else says and not investigate for themselves? My first enquiry into consciousness was around 2yrs of age. I couldn't understand why my consciousness kept dropping in and out and returned only for what seemed to be a brief moment. The consciousness I am speaking of, was an overwhelming lucid state of being there, not your normal every day form of consciousness. I recall a memory from an experience of a pot plant where xmas presents were placed in the front veranda of my grandparents home. A year later the same conscious experience repeated, and although a year had passed in-between, the year was a total blur, and only the recollection of the conscious state returning whilst looking at the pot where the presents were once again placed. So what I am saying is that familiar objects can trigger the return of a conscious experience. I know you might say you can't recall consciousness, because you are that, but there are different states of consciousness which we can all experience and recognise, once we have had such an experience. 🎉

After 53 yrs of meditation - one thinks - that instead of a grand Mu moment (Zen kensho) - if one mediates constantly - the meditation experiences - form into a constant meditative mind and enlightenment - is more a transformation - from meditation to an eventual divinisation - of thought and mind and feelings and heart. That is the practical changing experience - ongoing and constantly realising - the infinite wonder - of the inner nature of human beings. Fare thee well - on life's journey.
