BTS está compuesto por 3 raperos y 4 vocalistas. Esta es una de sus 3 canciones en inglés que fueron lanzadas durante la pandemia para alegrar a ARMY, sus fans, y son más ligeras que otros temas suyos. Con una sola canción es muy difícil saber demasiadas cosas, por ejemplo, tienen canciones casi para género y, normalmente, combinan el coreano con toques en inglés, aunque también tienen canciones en japonés. Di qué estilo te gusta y, probablemente, tengan una canción que se adapte. Por lo que he oído a otros expertos, los vocalistas se dividen en: un barítono, dos tenores y un tenor ligero. I don't know why I didn't write any comment to this reaction so far..now I do and subscribed! Well, Pitta never has been an opera singer, initially he is a rocker who is a huge fan of MUSE. His beautiful soprano head voice falsetto is uniquely special. Please name an opera singer if there's any who sings like him. Thanks for your fantastic reaction to Kang HyungHo (rocker identity Pitta) of Forestella. He said he's inspired by NightWish and he has NightWish version cover on his own channel. Kang HyungHo has interesting life story. He wanted to sing from his juvenil days but his parents didn't agree him to go to art school. So his music life started since he joined the rock band in the university. Even after graduation he continued the band and won the Grand-Prix in the workers' band contest in Busan. His sensational audition song- the Phantom of the Opera was his killer repertoire. He used to cover MUSE so he developed his falsetto that good. (He has not only very talented voice but also great singing technique.) He was working as a research chemist in Lotte BP Chemical - quite good company providing high salary, it was Samsung BP Chemical sold to Lotte - when he auditioned. As Phantom Singer audition was designed for making a (good-looking) classical crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea, there were bunch of opera singers who majored in classical vocal and well-known musical actors. He was the only office worker who majored in (chemical) engineering in whole participants. But he used to sing as a vocalist in an amateur rock band (the band name was Pitta but it became Pittaband afterwards) in his leisure time. He stole the show singing the Phantom of the Opera duet song by himself. Now his audition clip has more than 3M views in Navercast and got more than 10M views - the maximum of all the Phantom Singer videos on KZfaq - only from Koreans as JTBC didn't release the video for abroad.. He said he had thought he would be able to quit from the music regretlessly with criticism he would get. But BAAMM! Thanks God he failed to quit from music! He quit from the research chemist job instead. lol He was doing good in his job like to get promoted even while his audition. His company exceptionally offered him an year's leave of absence and he wrote 3 papers on chemical research theme even while his leave of absence as a chemist, working (singing) as a member of Forestella. He quit his research chemist job 1 year after the debut as Forestella, in the end of leave of absence period he had. He would have worries and considering about career and steady salary, stable life but finally chose the life of professional musician. I really appreciate his decision from heart as a fan of him, and of Forestella. And now his musician career became longer than his research chemist career, he is the vocal director of Forestella and the composer of their original song Snow Globe. Thanks God again he failed to quit from music!

Hi there!! I really appreciate you taking the time to leave me a message. I really liked Pitta's interpretation. I will do more content on Pitta or Forestella very soon. You clearly know a lot about Pitta, I really appreciate the information. You were asking me about any opera singer who sings like him. I think that when an artist has an elite level, it is not correct to compare them, there are always many inaccuracies when doing so, that is why I believe that each voice is unique when there is such a high level, as it is in the case of Pitta. Regarding your question, if you are looking for male singers with wide ranges and head voices Michael Matijevic is one of my favorites. But if you are looking for something exclusively operatic, Philippe Jaroussky is a good example. If u're looking for someones who mixes opera with pop, I think the main references would be Dimash Qudaibergen or Vitas. Again, each one has their own vocal timbre, way of interpreting a crescendo, vibratos, melismas, etc. Even if they had the same technical resources, they wouldn't sound the same. If there is a particular video that you would like to see an analysis of, I am at your disposal! Take care of yourself!

@@LuisSainMusik Kang HyungHo is actually compared to Philippe Jaroussky because they have a very similar timbre. KHH's "classical soprano" head voice is unusually pure, crystal clear and almost boyish. But he is very flexible and can actually sound like MJ, Freddie or Matthew Bellamy from Muse, as is repeatedly confirmed. He adopts the corresponding characteristics and techniques and shines in every genre. Lascia ch'io pianga (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ba5ppsugs9GloJc.html just a short spot). But he doesn't want to define himself by this voice. He wants to try everything, experiment, not limit himself musically and he has the appropriate skills and techniques. That is one of the things that makes him and his concerts so interesting. (Btw. the same applies to FORESTELLA).

@@LuisSainMusik Thank you for your detailed reply! I wanted to broaden my view of music, as I wasn't listening to music before encounting Forestella. In your recommendations, I like Philipe Jarousky the most. I agree the comparison is pointless. I wished to find more favorite style of mine. I was (am) a kind of bookworm who couldn't hear anything while reading, music wasn't on my need. I had knowledge about music by books, stories about musicians and heard some pieces to understand the story. So I know a few artists only, whom I know means literally everyone knows. But Forestella changed my life! I came to listen to the original songs they covered, another covers of the same songs, various artists of reaction channels...because I know that helps me enjoying Forestella's music more. So far I think Sarah Brightman might be the nearest style of voice that HyungHo has. I never thought this could happen to me. Thanks to Forestella for letting me know how music enriches a life.

En los últimos años comencé a buscar en KZfaq alguien que me emocionará como en su momento lo había hecho Pink Floyd, Génesis de la primera época con Peter Gabriel, algo de Led Zeppelin, Emerson Lake & Palmer... siempre me gustaron las bandas británicas, Soy viejita 😅 y esas bandas fueron magníficas para mí, después también me pareció interesante Beth Hart, Gorillaz, Artric Monkeys, Jaimiroquai, Joss Stone, todo British... jajaja! Una noche pongo en KZfaq: El mejor cantante del mundo y me sale Dimash Qudaibergen y ahí renació mi amor por la música y gracias a él conocí músicos y cantantes de otros lugares del mundo. Hola Luis.... Lamentablemente no sé reconocer el autotune (🤦🤦🤦), pero uno de los temas que más me gusta de BTS es The Truth Untold. Está cantada sólo por la linea vocal (los 3 raperos no intervienen en este tema). Tienen muchas canciones hermosas. La voz que dijiste que te gustó es de Jimin es re dulce. Pero es verdad, son muy reconocibles las voces de los 7

Si totalmente, esta es una d mis primeras escuchas prestando atención, y se nota a leguas el haber elegidos distintos timbres vocales, mas allá de que todos son tenores ( a no ser q se me haya escapado algún barítono medio atenorado )

Hola Luis me gustan tus apreciaciones, cada día agrego conceptos nuevos y amplió mi capacidad para escuchar y disfrutar la música; no me quiero quedar encasillada solo con Dimash (que es mi auténtico ídolo) o en algún genero en particular.
