LOL You know you can make an adjustment in the toilet tank to lower the level of water. I was hoping you'd answer the question I've always been curious about, someone said the water swirls down the toilet in the opposite direction in Australia than it does here. I'd like to find out if that's true? Yes of course as the spouse of a serviceman you do deserve a special thanks. There are many ways you support him and make it easier for him to do his job. Tipping. I wouldn't worry about it obviously they know you're from another country so they just assume you don't understand. I once had a waiter come after me telling me I forgot to leave a tip. I stared him straight in the face and told him I gave you what you earned. He acted all offended. I waited on tables for 20 years and I was damn good at it. I will not tip someone who doesn't try.

I'm definitely loving the white mason jars with the tulips and the box they're in. Your table settings are simple, fresh and beautiful.

I can do this. Instead of black plates I have everyday glossy deep brown ones with a gold rim. I love the bunny plates, where did you find those? This is perfect for a spring tea party I want to host.

waiters and waitresses are paid under minimum wage so you will get better services from them and at the end of the day they have to turn in how much they got in tips si it can be added to their tax forms and i see you have done this video four years ago and since you have been here 3 years you should be able to become an american citizen if you havent yet

My wife Randi and I visited Australia in 2019 and had a wonderful time there. Driving was a little awkward at first; as we can't count the number of times we washed and ran the window wipers of the rental car every time we tried to signal our turns. It had to have amused the drivers behind us. Hope you enjoyed your station in the US. Best Regards, Gladwin Bock, Sun City, AZ-USA.

If you buy a quilt that’s floral blue and white what style of rug do I get? How do you match a rug for a bedroom? Does it have to just be neutral white/cream. It is it ok to get an orientalist style with the colors in it? Or will they fight for attention haha

I have never seen the water in s toilet bowl to be up to the rim. If it is its about to overflow lol. Military wives have the hardest job keeping the home fires burning while their loved ones are risking their lives for all of us. So thank both of you for your service . Y'all need to come to Texas for Ribs and Brisket! You wont be disappointed.

As an American, I welcome ALL Australians. We love you all. You're the coolest, most down-to-earth people and wherever you go, you make it much better. There's no such thing as "too many Australians", if you know what I mean. Your cool accents, your laid back attitude, and your work ethic is second to none. The only thing I don't like about Australians is, they don't bring koala bears over here with them. LOL

Tipping…it is pretty haphazard as you say. Usually though if you have a waiter/waitress table side who checks in on you during your meal, then tip. Personal services such as haircuts/styles, nails or such are tipped. Nice high-end hotels if they help you bring luggage to your room, etc. But there are situations where Americans don’t even know or agree. Do you leave a tip in the room for the housekeepers? I don’t, but some of my friends do, and international friends visiting the US did.

Thanks for sharing! America is basically the most religious western country, so lots of people would particitate in non-governmental religious charitable organizations and community activities to help others. And Americans generally donate more than any other country in the world per capita. This is especially true if you live in the countryside, people are nicer than in big cities. You can check out some speeches about America given by a famous author here in the States called Dennis Prager. Best wishes!

All those tithes to Christina churches and prosperity preachers probably drive up the donation totals.

People talk about "driving on the other side of the car" like this is just an American thing. Almost every country in Europe(except for the UK), South America, Korea, United Arab Emirates, and many others have that.

I would imagine you're reaction to an Out back steak house restaurant would be similar to a Italian from Italy reaction to Olive Garden. Considering the restaurant probably is about as Australian as Foster's beer. Which is produced in the UK also you'll find it difficult to find and not even remotely popular in Australia.
