Will the bone break? The middle is the bone. How could you press 1/3 down ?

The middle of the chest is the bone position? It should be on the left side of the chest, that is the heart position? You can try press yourself, you will find it is the bone. The lift side that close to the bone in the middle, that is the right position.
@thomasb.581 Жыл бұрын
The middle part is the so called Sternum. It is a bone that partially covers your heart. On your left, as you mentioned, there are so called costae aka ribs. If you press on the left side, the ribs will act as a sort of airbag and the pressing on the chest will not help as you will not reach the heart well. Pressing down on the middle, onto a firmer bone that does not act as a sort of cushion, you will be able to compress the heart better and you will have the right CPR spot.

That not true really . The non touchable thermometer is not reliable because is inaccurate, while fever is showing different reading all the time. The best one is under armpit or even better which one you putting in to the ear.

I was expecting to hear something about babies communicating while they're asleep or so. :) That's not what it was about, but still an interesting video. The most interesting fact for me was that you can't teach them bad sleep associations until 3 months of age because their frontal cortex is not yet developed enough. I hadn't heard that in any of the other videos I watched and it's nice to know I can let my baby sleep on me with peace of mind cause we both love it. Also, to get things done while still holding them upright: carrying them in a wrap is great! Thanks for the video.

Great presentation. We learned a lot. This may be silly, but If a mother comes to you with a blue baby and she does not know if the baby was choking on something, do you still start with CPR incluidbg breathing into the baby's mouth which could push an obstruction deeper or do you hit five times first?

Were at 3 weeks, almost everyday our son misses a sleep. Right now, he has missed back-to-back sleeps, and honestly, we are concerned for the neighbours. So much screaming and almost nothing can calm him down. We are trialling a pacifier and that only provides temporary relief. Good luck to you, lots of babies need skin-to-skin and we will have to resort to that at times.
