I remember watching this in the early 70s when I was a Freshman in high school thinking the final two lines of dialogue were really stupid. So I had to watch for The Professor and the last bit of dialogue. Damn, my memory was perfect and after 50 years the last lines are still utterly inane!

😆 THIS was a classic Sci-Fi b-movie. If it wasn’t some ‘ end of the world ’ threat from Outer Space, then It was someone or something deadly preying upon or lurking within The Earth.

I like it where she goes from unconscious 1:00:34 to conscious and moving 1:00:46 then to unconsciousness again 1:00:56

Sadly we all know Mexico is so very different now.

The world seemed so untouched in the 1950’s and 60’s. Truly a beautiful place!

These 50s black % white sci fi movies were both terrible and cool both at the same time. They were mostly shown at drive-ins where you could stuff your face on popcorn, hot dogs and orange ade. Those were the days!

I like these old movies. Everybody was a scientist, they wore suits and ties, The women always wore make up and fixed their hair nice and were polite.

1:21:46 The wet robe is a lot tougher than when dry so pouring water to it is very clever, however it's simply doesn't work. It's too little water to wet a little outside of the robe and too little time for it to do anything. The robe has to be soaked, immersed in water till it's completely wet. Oh my bad, it's a movie!

As kids we came up with some Star Wars names; Princess Leia became Princess Lay-ya. Space slut. Han Solo became Hung So-low. A scoundrel with junk the size of a sarlac tentacle. Chewbacca became Chewed Socka. A mangled sock puppet that Han wore on his right hand. ObiWan Kenobi became Youowemeone Comeblowme. A rather sick old man. Luke Skywalker became Duke Slowtalker. Talked like John Wayne. That was about all we came up with before we passed out.

Oh this one I realy love to the maximum. Even those romantc scenes. Its all in there to show how a good man could act and take care for his own business in harmony with the universe.

I did not know it was a real thing one of my co- technicians Elton S. Fulcher in the Air Force cross trained out of graphics ( best artist I have ever met) into electronics and he drew a “captain video” for our baseball team. And didn’t look like this guy at all was working TV screen on Elton’s idea

I have seen this and it is good but you have to stick with it and not quit in the slower part.
