Year of the Fall is a synthwave/retrowave band inspired by nostalgia for the music and movies of the 1980s. If you long for the days of Atari and ET, you’ve come to the right place.

YOTF features German electronic musician Philipp Kappestein and American singer/songwriter Dan Vaccaro. The duo’s debut album, Fragile Machine, blends the airy pop culture sound of their formative years with a hint of melancholy for the imminent loss of our collective humanity. Ya know, like Back to the Future meets Blade Runner.
