My grandmother told me about some of these creatures. She claims we have Choctaw heritage. This was back before the internet and Wikipedia. Her descriptions were very similar to yours, so I have to believe it at this point. You said you're from Texas? I'm originally from East Texas and that landscape in your video looks like my back yard back then! 😂 Amazing video. I will definitely be subscribing.

You can bike ride through there. Was a great course BITD. Rode my bike out there (just before Beryl) and almost ran over two good sized cottonmouths. Wish they would turn the course into a series of bike trails and BMX park. Great vid, thanks for sharing.

Having a light on your weapon also allows your opponent to see you. If you're defending your home you don't need the light, you have home field advantage

I carry one on mine, an x300u on a g17. That said, I've NEVER seen a civilian utilize a wml on a CCW in a gun fight before the fight is already over. I mostly carry one as a standoff at this point, especially since it's not substantially harder to conceal than just a g17

You dont have a flashlight on your person, but you do have one on your firearm. In time you get lazy and start flagging every non-threat out there. 🤷‍♂️

So don't engage the light if you're worried about divulging your location. Youll have it for situations when you need it, and you don't have to use it of you have it but don't need it.
