Yes, and I forgot the Yugurs of Gansu province. The Yugurs are probably the most pure blood Uighurs as in the part of Gansu they settled in, there were no Indo-European tribes, hence no intermmariage. The Yugurs did not convert to Islam, unlike their UIghur brethren in Xinjiang. Today, a Yugur is indistinguishable from a Han Chinese.

This is a lesson in history for you racists out there who call out people with Mongolian features. The ancestors of all Turks were Mongoloids! Today many Turkic tribes are Mongoloid!! Like the Yakuts, Tartars, Salar, Kazak and Kirghiz. Why are U discriminating against all these Turkic brothers??

The funny fact is, many Han Chinese people living in provinces like Shanxi actually might have more Turkic blood than the Turkish, due to centuries of rule by the Tuoba Turks from the 4th to 6th centuries AD, and the Shatuo Turks ruled during the 10th centuries. The Gokturks were crushed by Tang Tai Zhong of the Tang. The subjugated Turks called Tai Zhong the Khan of Khans and the Gokturks served in the Tang Chinese Imperial armies for another 100 years.

The people of Turkey have very little Turkic blood. Old Turkey was inhabited by Indo-European trbes since antiquity by the Hittites, Greeks and Kurds etc. When the Turkic Seljuks and Othomans arrived, they had already intermixed with the Iranic tribes along the way, losing their Mongoloid appearance. The Yakuts in Siberia are very pure blood turks and they look very similar to Manchus and Mongolians, some can pass as Han Chinese as well.

What is it about him that makes him seem Taiwanese or Japanese? Is it hairstyle and clothing, or something else?

speaking of uyghur pride...what's happening to uyghurstan independence movement now? i don' see anything going on that stands agaisnt communist china. r uyghurs giving up already? a song can do little to enhance the claimed "pride"...i rather see more people fighting for their freedom and the establishment of eastern turkistan. let chinese kno uyghurstan ain't their "new frontier", and uyghurs do not belong to chinese
