Composite mostly builts heavier than optimised aluminium. It is also more expensive. The original cri-cri had 460 km range (Wiki). I wonder what the electric one has.

WTF this is exactly what i was about to create from the basic cricri. exept landing gear .. you made exactly the progress in aerodynamic things about a longer pilots housing and round up the body and a few other things i was thinking about. Love this. what about landing gear changeing. this plane must be a fast beast if the landing gear could be moved inside. empty weight of your fiber cricri. could you save some kg ? where is this baby can i see it Live ?

The question is, 1st can it FLY on just (1) Engine? What is the hp of one engine? What is the Planes MTOW? 80 kg = 176.3696 lbs. Does that 80 kg include the Batteries needed, I doubt it? 55 kg of Thrust = 121.2541 lbs. How many lbs of Batteries for 1`hr of Flight, 1 hr 30 min of Flight, 2 hrs of Flight. A Lazair Ultralight with (2) Rotax 185's rated 9.4hp ea could Fly 2hrs on 5 Gallons of Gas. Avg US/Canadian Pilot weighs 180lbs to 235lbs.
