in the scheme of expenses driving on racetracks, it is definitely worth it. even for street use it adds that much more fun making the R53 driving experience close to perfect. if you are not convinced find someone how has one and try it. I was initial concern that the set screws may shift over time but with a lot of hours on the track all the gears are where they should be and I have never need to re-align the set screws.

what shifter is that? it looks quite a bit taller than stock

that is a short (throw distances) shifter by CoolerWorx. It is taller so reduces the distance you hand needs to travel.

Make sure you feed the hoses underneath the jacks. Don’t get them get pinched between the jack and vehicle.

I noticed that even before I made the decision to buy it. It is one thing that you wish can be a bit better, but understandably it is a necessity given how this lift is designed and made for the widest of vehicles. I will get a two-post lift in a heartbeat only if my garage can accommodate one.
