I would like to somewhat change what I said about your comments on Frenchie in a previous video. You said it didn’t make much sense that he turned himself in now rather than in previous seasons. I think after watching the rest of the season , my main gripe is that he went completely back to normal after he got out. It would have make more sense for him to have more of a struggle with his feelings as well as been more interesting to watch for the rest of the season. Love your videos, keep up the good content!

I agree with you on that my friend! He was so poorly written this season imo and I don't get why. Kimoko was still hella interesting but Frenchie didn't do anything of note til the virus came up and that didn't even go anywhere really. Still enjoyed the hell out of this season tho but it was the most flawed of the 4 by far. Thank you very much I definitely will! Much more on the way this week and beyond!

As always, I wholeheartedly disagree. I think people are far too critical of X-Men Apocalypse. I proudly own this movie on Blu-ray and I'll watch it more often than any movie in the MCU. I mean, the Quicksilver and Weapon X scenes alone are good to enough to forgive any flaws there are

Those are cool scenes for sure but they don't save the movie for me personally. I LOVE Storm as a character and they completely waste her in this movie. Also Apocalypse as a villain isn't intimidating and his plan makes no sense besides him needing a new body. Magneto has some great scenes though and the action is good too. I have to respectfully disagree but I'm genuinely glad you love the movie and enjoy it. Thanks for watching the review I really do appreciate it my friend!

I think Frenchie has always felt bad for his past. Part of the reason he’s been a druggy the whole series. I think that last situation he went through just set him over the edge. He had to step back after he got Mallory’s grandkids killed, the same thing but worse is happening now
@fandomfrequency

That's a fair point actually I didn't think about it that way before tbh. BUT i still don't like how he doesn't have any major role to play where the rest of the gang does something important or plays some kind of part in the overall plot and advances it forward. He seems to be wasted a bit to me the last two seasons. Don't dislike the character just think they're not writing him the best lately.

Kevin Williamson was actually the guy who originally wrote the script for scream 3 And the plot was that Stu Macher was alive and leading a cult. With all of the clues in the latest two movies points that being true so it’s not confirmed that he’s dead 🙌🏼

Totally! I remember reading about that in the late 2000's or early 2010's online and that blew my mind! I enjoy Scream 3 for what it is but imagine a Kevin Williamson written Stu Macher return version of that? But who knows he may pop back into Scream 7 since Williamson is directing it.

I think Chasing Amy was easily Kevin at his best. It gets some heat now for being about a "straight guy turning a lesbian", but I think those who say that are missing a huge chunk of the puzzle. Either way like you said, they're all movies at the end of the day. I really want to watch Mallrats again because I REALLY hated it the first time around a couple months ago. My opinion the first two x men were boring and what I like about the last stand it didn't waist anytime getting to the action which was the highlight in the movie I don't see whats the hate with this movie I definitely will always like the movie despite what people say the flaws it has
@fandomfrequency

The pacing is a bit better in Last Stand compared to the first two but I completely disagree with them being boring though. They took some time to set up the story and conflict wit the characters which was very necessary especially in the 1st movie cuz most ppl going to the movies back in 2000 didn't know anything about the X-Men. Fans know but it was a different time back then.

Yikes Clerks 3 right above 2? *whistles* that's a dagger that's hard to pull out (I'm just messin'). I've been a fan since Clerks II and have yet to see everything else but my rankings for now would probably be: 1. Clerks II (My introduction to Smith) 2. Clerks 3. Mallrats (My 2nd Kevin Smith film) 4. Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back 5. Clerks III 6. Jay And Silent Bob Reboot Clerks is my favorite of all of Askew but having high expectations for Clerks III from 2017 till when it finally came out in 2022, kinda blew me over the edge hard. There were good moments, but it felt like one thing or joke was overused too much, amongst a few corny scenes, a meh soundtrack, and an awful ending. It feels more like a spin-off/love letter to longtime fans of the first, but fails (imo) as a sequel, let alone a finale. It did make me cry as much as I hate to admit it, and it did have a few funny moments maybe a couple chuckles, but man Smith is kinda losing his edge I feel. It felt more like an empty drama rather than a movie about two guys in customer service again, living their future happily like the last film was setting up. 2 ended perfectly for these characters. Though I know and understand why Kevin made the movie that way. I've gained low expectations for 'Twilight of The Mallrats'.

Great review and conversation about Die Hard. What makes Die Hard a great (best EVER!) Christmas movie is actually the opening of the movie. John McClane is going to see his family on Christmas. He's going to resolve any differences between him and Holly and who else said "Christmas is about resolving differences"...... Clark Griswold in Christmas Vacation!!!! Die Hard also had Christmas imagery and Christmas music. As for the movie itself, it's entertaining from beginning to end, well acted, amazing action sequences and great effects. My favorite scene is Al's redemption moment at the end......it never fails to give me chills! Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber is the perfect villain. Loved this review, keep up the great work!

Your list is pretty good. I definitely think Clerks and Mallrats are neck and neck. Not a total fan of the extended cut of Mallrats but the original cut is damn near perfect. 1. Clerks 2. Mallrats 3. Dogma 4. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back 5. Clerks 3 6. Clerks 2 7. Chasing Amy 8. Reboot Reboot isn't an awful movie, but Jason Lee and Jason Mewes have very cringe lines when trying to speak like young people and the whole Russian twist plotline pulled me out of the movie. On rewatch though I did appreciate the Chasing Amy stuff a lot more and his daughter has a really really strong performance. She showed some serious acting chops in that film. The heart works a lot better than the comedy did. I almost forgot to mention it has Chris Jericho cameo which as a wrestling fan I was very happy about. I haven't seen Chasing Amy in years which is why it ranks so low. I really liked Clerks 3 and with time I am sure I'm only going to love it more.
