Is chick peas or lentils you used? When you first added them you said chickpeas but then you added more and said pressure cook the lentils if you want to. So is it both chick peas and lentils or just chick peas? Brilliant video and receipe by the way but I want to make sure I get the ingredients right. Cheers.

Don't try to make 2 batches at the same time. It doesn't work. It will get caught up into the hand mixers insides making it harder to clean up and then it comes out uncooked if you don't put it in for at least 50min. Had to bake it for 1hr and 15 minutes just so it could come out tasting like Chinese moon cake with apple cinnamon on top. I feel like I made desert more than a bread. 2 of everything just don't cut it for a bigger bread tin. The apples cover the top and there is not enough mix to put on top of the apples. Therefore it is a desert. I don't understand why the time and effort put into the bread and the bread part isn't even bread like it's dense cake like. I feel like either I missed something or this recipe is Missing something. Also never mix the butter and the eggs unless they are room temperature not cold or else it won't be easy to mix and it will get stuck to your hand mixer.

But why sugar.. Wont that make the soup sweet
@Lillianairesclub2 жыл бұрын
Good question, No sugar won't make it sweet, it's just to balance the tartness and heat. You can skip it if you don't like.
