The pot at 9:20 is almost certainly a Zulu beer pot, not a Nigerian one. The bumps are called amasumpa. You described the application of amasumpa correctly.

Hello. Thank you for this video. May I ask, when you suggested the dry wall and masking tape, did you mean wrapping the dry wall with canvas or using it as is?

I believe he said to mask the sides of the drywall so that the powdery gypsum in the centre of the drywall board does not contaminate your clay. His second option is to wrap canvas around a wooden board.

I’ll comment here because the other postings don’t have open comment space. The assemblages program leaves out the very important work of Joseph Cornell. Many of his pieces are in the Chicago Art Institute collection. I urge all interested in collage and “combines” to look him up.
