So sad about Ray. He comes across as a genuinely kind and warm person. You can kind of see in this episode that he doesn't look well and as I understand it, he passed away only a couple of months after this episode was filmed. So very sad. RIP. It's a shame they can't find someone else to continue this series because even just in that area of California there are so many more wonderful places to eat. Carmel for example has a plethora of fantastic dinning locations.

I remember when Eddie's was up town and Eddie owned it. His sister cooked and Pierre was the dish washer. Larry Lewis bought it and moved it out to the old Ponderosa restaurant years ago. Still good food though. That's what I miss, Eddie's,The Wool Growers, and my family and a few friends, the rest you can have!

How much do I love Ray OCanto..? Not quite as much as I love his brother Mic..my soon to be hubby.buy..wow...Ray is so vivacious ..his enthusiasm and vest for life is infectious. Although we never met, I feel like I know him because of all Mic's stories and fond remembrances of. It is easy to see why Ray was the more than a brother but the most influential person in Mic's life..it's so sad Ray's life was cut short..but his legacy lives on..

Stop in at JJ's Pizza in the East Village and have a great pizza...great charburger...or many other options plus they deliver every evening!

I remember when it was actually Firestone Tires when I moved here in 1988. This place is definitely a great place to eat and drink! Good food and good people!!!

This guy it’s gross, he just went and put his arm around sushi guy after he rolled the sushi roll, yaak So gross. I am glad he is not the one making sushi at this place, he doesn’t realize were he puts his hands when touching food.

I live in SLO. Dinning here is OK at best. Paso Robles up the road 25 min, is geared towards the wine crowd, that's some fine dinning, find some real good knock your socks off food!!!
