Hey bro just found your channel. Where can I shoot you a message? I have land in Missouri and would love to have you up for a deer camp. One thing as a word of advice. I had someone teach me because I use to do the same thing. Try to slow down your trigger pull. Punching the trigger will have your groups all over the place.. Also im not just blowing smoke we got room for you up here to hunt and our season goes from Sept 15 to Jan 15

Did you get a new bow buddy? It's been a very inspirational journey following you since you started ( here in you tube land). Are you planning on hunting from a stand or staying on the ground? My first bow kill 38 years ago was on the ground before they were making blinds so it can be done! I'm anxious to see how things pan out for you in the deer woods, there's always something to be learned if your "all in" so to speak. It can be an emotional roller coaster of highs and lows for sure but there's nothing better than that point of realizing how much non hunters are missing when the woods come to life every morning. God's creation is amazingly special when He touches the hunters heart. So no matter what, give God the glory in all things and the deer woods will be good to you brother. And while your at it....... keep shooting 🦌🤺

Best way to sight in is to do the vertical and horizontal separately. Take a piece of duct tape (brightly colored like orange) and put a piece on your target horizontally. Shoot until you’re consistently putting arrows in the tape for your up and down. Don’t even worry about the left and right windage adjustment, just focus on getting the up and down set. Then take a piece of duct tape and put it on the target vertically. Use that to get your left and right windage set. Just worry about the left and right, don’t worry about the up and down. If you really want to fine tune, tear the tape in half so it’s about an inch wide and repeat the process. The narrower width of the tape will help you really refine the sight. Shooting dots aren’t great for sighting in, just too much variation on the spot you’re aiming at. I used to have that trophy ridge react sight, it’s great because you just have to sight in 20 yards and 30 yard pins. The react technology sets the other pins when you adjust the 30 yard pin providing you’re using the second pin in the housing. I’ve been told the react technology is fool proof and it was always accurate for me.

Grab a chair…practice sit down shots…in case that’s the only shot you have in a tree stand. Practice shooting from one knee…both knees….in case you see a deer on the way to the tree stand and you have to get low. Practice getting a quicker than normal shot off…in case u have to fire off a quick one. DEFINITELY shoot with both eyes open…larger field of view. If you can, practice in the woods. Like find an archery range with targets throughout the woods. It’s a different feel. Like first time shooting elevated was a different feel for me. Basically get used to as much as you can. The last thing you want is to be uncomfortable when you deer gives you the perfect shot. If it doesn’t give you a perfect shot, you will still have an idea of what’s going on and what decisions to make. I hope that made sense lol. Keep shooting and keep it safe bro 🦾💯

I used a WB for several years because it just worked. I did a lot of spot &. stalk back then and this was a great way to go. Seems like after adjusting you were still hitting right. Could be your grip. Slightly torquing? Try slowing down your index finger. May be contributing to right hits? Naturally m you have got to get used to a whole new rig too. But with some serious shooting no doubt you will be fine come hunting season. You are still pretty quick with that trigger finger. Thinking you may have that trigger set too light? and that’s why you won’t lay your finger on it but are still punching more than pulling it seemed. If that release can have more tension needed it may allow you to put the finger on it after you anchor. I don’t know just thinking that might give you less hand movement getting the finger in place? My triggers are set where I can easily hook my finger on them with no fear of them firing. Knowing it’s not firing until my pin has settled down in movement is reassuring at full draw.

@@whatisarchery try something. Get like 10 feet from your bag. Have it up high level with your drawn bow. Draw ,hold for 4-7 seconds until the wobble has settled. Then move that finger to the trigger and start applying pressure. At this distance you aren’t timing anything to do with your shot as far as trying to get the shot off while the pin is in the area you want to hit. You are just working on slowing down your finger to get more control. You can and maybe should close your eyes or cover the scope. You’re not worried about aiming now just getting the shot cycle to slow as far as your finger movement is concerned. Rewiring the brain is all.
