whats up with your raking grinder is it a 4" grinder with a raking blade where did you get the chaser attachment? im looking for something like that as raking out with a normal grinder is dusty work and im sick of having to shake my self off after all the time i mean raking out nothing else!!!!

Good method,but where grinding out is concerned,if you have to do this in the first place,repointing is not needed.

what hoover unit are you using? do you not find it boaring repointing

Good job,I don't use one of these,prefer the trowel,but like you I shorten all my trowels or grind them to shape of old and trusted tools.then finish by putting a leading edge on them slightly.You get better results each time you use them then.Just running an old WHS in,proper old school trowel,doctored by me,pleasure to use now.

I bought this one second hand but there is a company PWM Distribution online who sell them.
