Question: Yesterday I was exercising 3 dogs off leash with heavy distractions. Two smaller dogs had just completed the exercise and were sprinting back to center. I recalled the third. The third was sprinting @95lbs when she t-boned the smaller @53lbs. The dogs did not see each. The hit was hard. They were both stunned. They didn’t hit heads. Big dog’s head was above and she slammed directly into the rib cage/shoulder with her chest. They walked okay and starting playing. We worked and played another 30 mins with no sign of limp or lameness. A quick pat down and inspection before we left showed no signs of pain or loss of range. Later at home I picked up the @53lb dog the chest to move it and it popped hard as I pulled him to my chest and squeezed during lift. Since he was against me I felt just like joint popping in. I have reset my shoulder before and was vocal about the pain. This dog didn’t even flinch. Shows no sign of pain or limp. Any ideas?

I don't think that should be a crime it's better than them being neglected or worse even killed. The government should step up to found shops to take drop offs.

Im so disappointed, we took our boy to the vet after not being able to find his right shoulder blade when examining him due to a limp. They charged us $160 and wouldnt even try to pop it back into place. They were going to charge us a total of $400 to add xrays and wouldnt give me any examples of pathways and treatment. They sent us home having been no help whatsover and my 6 month old puppy is still in pain and limping. I wish there was more detailed information online for astute pet owners, but im struggling to find anything except this video and it isnt clear what youre supposed to look for to pop back in. Im so discouraged.

The Hills teeth cleaning kibble is made mainly of grain and the fibrous pieces have a lot of hexametaphosphate. Very awful, high carb diet for a dog and awful to eat hexametaphosphate day in, day out. Better to feed a high quality diet for overall health and to help set up a better, species appropriate microflora in the mouth and brush teeth and use safe size, raw meaty bones.

Has anyone tried "Synoquin" for their dog that can provide real feedback whether positive/negative or no change? This vet mentioned the name 12teen times in a 6 minute video which made it seem like an infomercial yet would be worth it if all he said was real 🤔

Dr. Good was an incredible man and wonderful vet. I was fortunate to have him care for my dog Lucy during the four years I lived in Marietta. I remember our first appointment. Lucy was on the exam table, he walked in, wrapped those big arms around 20 pound Lucy and buried his face in her neck ruff. I also was given a cat to foster in 2006. Emmy was with me until her death in January 2021. Thank you Dr. Good and thank you God for giving us such an amazing man. ❤️

Exactly cuse there is this outside stray kitty that me and the neighbors feed and pet and play with and I have a heated outside cat house for him on the front porch and his toe is now pointing backwards like the toe is either broken or dislocated but I can't get it fixed cuse I can't afford it and the poor baby has to live with it in pain cuse nobody will fix it for free and it's a quick easy fix cuse its just dislocated I found out and they wanna charge me 500 dollars to relocate it which is a ten minute or less fix where they just give him some meds to nimbe it and pop it back in place real quick but no vet will do it for free and wanna charge a bunch ofpneh for something that costs only a few minutes of thier time

I still can’t believe this. Ever since I can remember my family has taken our pets to Dr. Good. When I got a fur baby of my own, I took her to him as well, since she was 2 months old. She’s 5 and a half now. We saw him just 4 days before we got the news. He is an amazing person and an exceptional vet. I know the clinic is left in great hands; however it will never be the same. Rest in paradise 💜

Jack, Michael made indelible marks on thousands of people (and animals) that changed the course of their lives for the betterment of this world. He changed mine when I met him at 16 years of age. I've known him for almost 40 years now and one thing I can attest to is his true dedication to making the lives of animals better, to improve the human and animal bond, to teach the next generation to be kind to animals and to be kind to one another. He made me laugh and feel good about my self and my work. I am truly heartbroken and will miss him so much. Your work with the amazing Unleashed series will inspire so many people in perpetuity. Thank you for building such a program and show. In every episode you will laugh, cry, feel inspired and want to BE LIKE DR. GOOD.

We have been with Dr Good at T&C since around ‘96. We became “accidental” fosters for HPF cats several yrs back. Neighbors found a starved cat & called me. Unfortunately the next day he showed up with a big gash in his neck. Took him in but Dr Good wasn’t there. They were going to euthanize him because the surgery for him was expensive. I left that Friday in tears over this little cat I couldn’t help. I got a call a week later saying I could come pick up my foster cat. I called and was told Dr Good had come in Saturday morning saw the cat, and said we’re not euthanizing this cat. Sew him up and put him in Homeless Pets. That was my first foster. Needless to say he was a “foster fail” & we still have him today but our family has fostered other cats since and I volunteer in HPF Petsmart room. All the fosters were treated personally by Dr Good so I got to have many long conversations with him. His enthusiasm was contagious! We will miss him deeply.
