Binnen 1 minuut een leugen. Knap hoor.

The phrase from your brethren is understood from earlier one in 17 v 15. It refered to fellow Israelites not Ishmaelites Secondly Mohamed is not from Ishmael. He is an Arab from Yemen whose ancestors migrated to mecca region around 200 CE AND BUILT mecca and kaaba. We had another Kaaba called Dul Kalasa ...white Kaaba and Mohamed sent Jarir bin abdullah and destroyed it . So no prophet from Arabia deserter or Felix. He never spoke in The God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob who called himself Yahovah Case rested not Mohamed. He is not brethren of Israelites.

I thought you would start with Islamic understanding of salvation, if at all it exists. The Christian mainstream understanding is God loved us and created us in his image to know Him and love Him. It was Satan who tempted Eve. There is no confusion there for Christians. In Gen 3:15 God holds Satan (serpent) accountable and reveals his impending punishment. Why is it considered a sin? because Adam disobeyed the explicit "But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat. For in what day soever thou shalt eat of it, thou shalt die the death." . This command was BEFORE and not AFTER he ate. I am not sure if you are biased intentionally or just plain ignorant of the depth of scripture or you are just preparing to position the Islamic understanding.. but I stopped watching while you were making your second point.

Allah created the Nun (whale) and spread the earth on the back of the whale. The whale was disturbed and the earth was fixed in place with mountains. Tafsir of Ibn Kathir on the verse 68:1

68.1-7 Kathir - Ibn Al Kathirن(Nun), is like Allah's saying,ص(Sad), and Allah's saying,ق(Qaf), and similar to them from the individual letters that appear at the beginning of Qur'anic chapters. This has been dis- cussed at length previously and there is no need to repeat it here.The Explanation of the Pen ConcerningAllah's statement,وَالْقَلَمِ(By the pen) The apparent meaning is that this refers to the actual pen that is used to write. This is like Allah's saying,اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الاٌّكْرَمُ - الَّذِى عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ - عَلَّمَ الإِنسَـنَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ(Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous. Who has taught by the pen. He has taught man that which he knew not.) (96:3-5) Therefore, this statement is Allah's swearing and alerting His creatures to what He has favored them with by teaching them the skill of writing, through which knowledge is attained. Thus, Allah continues by saying,وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ(and by what they Yastur.) Ibn `Abbas, Mujahid and Qatadah all said that this means, "what they write.'' As-Suddi said, "The angels and the deeds of the servants they record.'' Others said, "Rather, what is meant here is the pen which Allah caused to write the decree when He wrote the decrees of all creation, and this took place fifty-thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth.'' For this, they present Hadiths that have been reported about the Pen. Ibn Abi Hatim recorded from Al-Walid bin `Ubadah bin As-Samit that he said, "My father called for me when he was dying and he said to me: `Verily, I heard the Messenger of Allah say,«إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا خَلَقَ اللهُ الْقَلَمُ فَقَالَ لَهُ: اكْتُبْ، قَالَ: يَا رَبِّ وَمَا أَكْتُبُ؟ قَالَ: اكْتُبِ الْقَدَرَ وَمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ إِلَى الْأَبَد»(Verily, the first of what Allah created was the Pen, and He said to it: "Write.'' The Pen said: "O my Lord, what shall I write'' He said: "Write the decree and whatever will throughout eternity.'')'' This Hadith has been recorded by Imam Ahmad through various routes of transmission. At-Tirmidhi also recorded it from a Hadith of Abu Dawud At-Tayalisi and he (At-Tirmidhi) said about it, "Hasan Sahih, Gharib.''Swearing by the Pen refers to the Greatness of the ProphetAllah says,مَآ أَنتَ بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ بِمَجْنُونٍ(You, by the grace of your Lord, are not insane.) meaning -- and all praise is due to Allah -- `you are not crazy as the ignorant among your people claim. They are those who deny the guidance and the clear truth that you have come with. Therefore, they attribute madness to you because of it.'وَإِنَّ لَكَ لاّجْراً غَيْرَ مَمْنُونٍ(And verily, for you will be reward that is not Mamnun.) meaning, `for you is the great reward, and abundant blessings which will never be cut off or perish, because you conveyed the Message of your Lord to creation, and you were patient with their abuse.' The meaning of:غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ(not Mamnun) is that it will not be cut off. This is similar to Allah's statement,عَطَآءً غَيْرَ مَجْذُوذٍ(a gift without an end.) (11:108) and His statement,فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ(Then they shall have a reward without end.) (95:6) Mujahid said,غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ(Without Mamnun) means "Without reckoning.'' And this refers back to what we have said before.The Explanation of the Statement: "Verily, You are on an Exalted Character.''Concerning Allah's statement,وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَى خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ(And verily, you are on an exalted (standard of) character.) Al-`Awfi reported from Ibn `Abbas, "Verily, you are on a great religion, and it is Islam.'' Likewise said Mujahid, Abu Malik, As-Suddi and Ar-Rabi` bin Anas. Ad-Dahhak and Ibn Zayd also said this. Sa`id bin Abi `Arubah reported from Qatadah that he said concerning Allah's statement,وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَى خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ(And verily, you are on an exalted (standard of) character.) "It has been mentioned to us that Sa`d bin Hisham asked `A'ishah about the character of the Messenger of Allah, so she replied: `Have you not read the Qur'an' Sa`d said: `Of course.' Then she said: `Verily, the character of the Messenger of Allah was the Qur'an.''' `Abdur-Razzaq recorded similar to this and Imam Muslim recorded it in his Sahih on the authority of Qatadah in its full length. This means that he would act according to the commands and the prohibition in the Qur'an. His nature and character were patterned according to the Qur'an, and he abandoned his natural disposition (i.e., the carnal nature). So whatever the Qur'an commanded, he did it, and whatever it forbade, he avoided it.

It doesn’t need to be a primate. If read literally, any shape would imply limitation. As in, G’od would have an organ with a form, for the purpose of seeing. It could also give rise to the problem of G’od having parts and being divisible if read literally in a careless manner… Not that they should have changed it though. It’s absurd what they’ve done…

Glations 2 Prophet paul peace and blessings of yeshua be upon him ( PBYUH ) Paul Accepted by the Apostles 2 Then after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem, this time with Barnabas. I took Titus along also. 2 I went in response to a revelation and, meeting privately with those esteemed as leaders, I presented to them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles. I wanted to be sure I was not running and had not been running my race in vain. 3 Yet not even Titus, who was with me, was compelled to be circumcised, even though he was a Greek. 4 This matter arose because some false believers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves. 5 We did not give in to them for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might be preserved for you. 6 As for those who were held in high esteem-whatever they were makes no difference to me; God does not show favoritism-they added nothing to my message. 7 On the contrary, they recognized that I had been entrusted with the task of preaching the gospel to the uncircumcised,[a] just as Peter had been to the circumcised.[b] 8 For God, who was at work in Peter as an apostle to the circumcised, was also at work in me as an apostle to the Gentiles. 9 James, Cephas[c] and John, those esteemed as pillars, gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship when they recognized the grace given to me. They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised. 10 All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I had been eager to do all along. His message is accepted by the followers of real Jesus *YeshuaofNazerth*

It isn't polytheism, because our nature is diminished, it is not in addition to the nature, also participation doesn't imply multiplicity. As a human participates in humanity he himself isn't humanity.
@DawahCollective

"As a human participates in humanity, he himself isn't humanity" -- this actually proves Ali's point. A human participates in humanity in the predicative sense, just as someone who achieves/undergoes Theosis also participates in the divine in the predicative sense. For us, this leads to the conclusion that humanity can be attributed to us in the predicative sense, which is why we are humans -- just as, according to your logic, divinity can be attributed in the predicative sense to people who achieve/undergo Theosis, and thus they have become gods.

The story of Joseph was written, long time before Jesus was born, by Moses in the Torah (law). As you, well educated Muslims, know, in Christianity everything is about Jesus Christ. We believe also that the fulfilment of the story of Joseph is in Jesus Christ. When Jesus walked on Earth, He said things like : “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.” and “For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me.” Why did Jesus said these things? You discussed the story of Joseph. It’s the story of a father who sent his son to his brothers. The brothers of this son were jealous, because he was the most beloved son of the father. That’s why his brothers hated him. They started hating him more when he told his brothers that he had specific dreams. The meaning of these dreams is that that his brothers and his parents would bow for him one day. So Joseph’s brothers made a plan. They betrayed him and sold him for money to the Midianites who brought him to Egypt. In Egypt, Joseph was falsely accused. He came in prison. He was among the criminals. One was the chief baker and the other one was the chief butler (bread and wine 🤔). In the story one criminal got saved, and the other criminal got lost. Finally, Joseph was released out of prison. He was highly exalted by the king/farao of Egypt. When there came a great famine over the world, Joseph’s brothers went to Egypt for food. When they saw Joseph, they didn’t recognise him. Joseph also didn’t reveal himself to them because he first wants to test if they were changed. When Judah Intercedes for Benjamin, Joseph knew that he was changed. Joseph revealed himself to his brothers. When Joseph’s brothers asked him for forgiveness, Joseph answered: Gen.50:20 But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. If you read this summary carefully, I hope you recognise another story. Because this is also the story of Jesus. He is the most beloved Son of the Father. His Jewish brothers betrayed Him for money. He was falsely accused, and finally delivered to the Romans. Hanging on the cross, Jesus was among the criminals. One criminal got saved and one criminal got lost. Jesus is now in heaven, highly exalted. One day, He will return, but He waits for the repentance of His Jewish brothers. This will happen when His Jewish brothers face a terrible tribulation. Then He will reveal Himself to them. (Not happened yet) Zech.12:10 .. then they will look on Me (YHWH) whom they pierced. The story of Joseph is one big prophecy, written by Moses, who foretells Jesus life on earth. Jesus is the fulfilment of the law and the prophets.

The narrative of Joseph, as detailed in the Torah, is a compelling story with elements that resonate through various religious traditions. However, interpreting Joseph's story as a direct prophecy of Jesus Christ’s life is a viewpoint specific to certain Christian theological interpretations and is not universally accepted. This scholarly rebunk addresses various aspects of the provided text by incorporating perspectives from biblical scholarship and religious studies. ### Historical Context and Authorship The story of Joseph is found in the Book of Genesis, traditionally attributed to Moses. However, modern biblical scholarship, as articulated by Richard Elliott Friedman and others, often views these texts as products of multiple authors over centuries, a theory known as the Documentary Hypothesis (Friedman, "Who Wrote the Bible?"). This hypothesis identifies sources such as J (Yahwist), E (Elohist), P (Priestly), and D (Deuteronomist) as contributors to the Pentateuch, including the Joseph narrative. Therefore, the narrative's primary purpose was to explain the Israelites' presence in Egypt and to convey themes of divine providence and personal integrity (Sarna, "Understanding Genesis"). ### Interpretations of Joseph’s Story In Judaism, the story of Joseph is viewed through lenses emphasizing themes like familial reconciliation and divine providence. For instance, Nahum Sarna in "Understanding Genesis" highlights Joseph's rise from slavery to power as evidence of divine intervention and moral virtue. In Islam, Joseph (Yusuf) is also a prophet, and his story in the Quran focuses on his patience, virtue, and unwavering faith in God during trials (Ayoub, "The Qur'an and Its Interpreters"). ### Jesus and Fulfillment of Prophecy The Christian New Testament includes passages where Jesus refers to fulfilling the Law and the Prophets. Scholars such as N.T. Wright argue that Jesus' statements about fulfillment should be understood within the context of first-century Jewish expectations and the broader narrative of Israel's history (Wright, "The New Testament and the People of God"). For instance, in Matthew 5:17, Jesus says, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill." The idea that Moses wrote about Jesus is a theological interpretation within Christianity. Jewish and Islamic traditions do not support this view, seeing Moses' writings as focused on their own religious contexts and figures. E.P. Sanders in "The Historical Figure of Jesus" emphasizes that Jesus' mission was understood within the Jewish eschatological framework rather than being a fulfillment of specific Old Testament prophecies as later interpreted by Christian theology. ### Similarities and Typology Parallels between Joseph and Jesus, such as being beloved sons, betrayal, false accusations, and ultimate exaltation, are interpretative and typological rather than explicit prophecies. Typology, as explained by G.K. Beale, involves seeing Old Testament figures and events as prefigurations of New Testament realities (Beale, "Handbook on the New Testament Use of the Old Testament"). For example, the betrayal of Joseph by his brothers (Genesis 37:28) is seen as a typological foreshadowing of Jesus' betrayal by Judas (Matthew 26:14-16). ### Prophecies and Fulfillments The text cites Zechariah 12:10, which Christian scholars interpret as a prophecy about Jesus: "They will look on me, the one they have pierced." However, Jewish interpretations, such as those by Rashi, see this verse differently, often as a reference to the collective suffering and redemption of Israel rather than an individual messianic figure (Rashi's Commentary on the Prophets). This highlights the divergent interpretations between religious traditions. ### Broader Perspective Different religious traditions interpret these stories in ways that support their theological frameworks. Christians, following scholars like Raymond E. Brown, see Jesus as the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies, interpreting stories like Joseph's typologically to prefigure Jesus' life and mission (Brown, "The Birth of the Messiah"). In contrast, Jewish and Islamic traditions have their own interpretations that do not point to Jesus in this manner. For instance, John J. Collins in "Introduction to the Hebrew Bible" underscores the importance of understanding these narratives within their original religious and historical contexts, avoiding anachronistic readings that impose later theological developments onto ancient texts. In conclusion, while the story of Joseph has elements that some Christians believe prefigure the life of Jesus, this interpretation is specific to Christian theology. Recognizing and respecting the distinct interpretations and beliefs of Judaism and Islam regarding these sacred texts enhances our understanding of their broader religious significance.

@@DawahCollective You need a lot of explanation trying to debunk the explanation of the story of Joseph. Try to find a prophecy about Muhammad that has as many similarities as between Joseph and Jesus. And as I said, one important aspect in this explanation is not fulfilled yet. That is when Yeshua reveals Himself to His brothers and tells them that they meant evil against Him; but God meant it for good to save many people for eternal life. If this happens during our lifetime, let it be a sign to you.

@IamTimOtheus As you know, we don't usually respond to comments, but I thought this time, why not. Respond substantively instead of with "if" scenarios...

@@IamTimOtheus Muhammad (pbuh) own uncle and tribesmen went against him. He had been boycotted in mecca. But he grew power in medina. Finally his tribesmen submitted to him but he forgave. Yes I can draw parallels if I wanted to. Just let youtube translate it:
