I think most important is to keep the car in a covered carport. I got all the usual problems with a low mile like you. Recently I replaced AC compressors on both - they were fine but thanks to the warranty the repairshop wanted to go ahead and change them. I think they did motor mounts and something with the ABS. The cars are great, just now it is about "refreshing" some parts to keep them new hehe. I m about to pass 50k! Currently sitting at 49.5

Just run a USB cable along the backbone of your frame and plug it into the USB plug that comes with your Battery Tender. That worked great for me on my old Road King Classic.

I just changed the oil in my sister’s 21 RAV4 this morning. I just used a 65mm 14 flute cap style oil filter wrench with a ratchet and it came right off. Hit everything with some brake cleaner afterwards and then reinstalled the skid plate. Filled up the oil to 4.8quarts like the book says and then followed up with a tire rotation. I kept telling my sister that she’s over paying when going to the dealer for an oil change, $28 bucks for a 5quart jug of Mobil one and another 5 bucks for a quality filter definitely beats paying 200 plus tax at Toyota.

I had my transmission fluid changed at 78k for the first time and about 30k ever since. I'm at 155k now. Just don't go to the dealer. They will flush it and that is bad.

You need to adjust to a happy medium. The way you worry about tiny details, youre only torturing yourself. Its a nice car as it is, and there is nothing to worry about. That person that gave you a quote of 700 dollars is a crook and is playing you. Whoever that crook is could look at a new car at a dealership and find something to charge someone 700 dollars for. Nothing is perfect in life

From what I can see with this battery tester, it reported my 2-year-old battery as having 440 cold cranking amps and called it a "good battery." However, the battery was originally rated for 850 cold cranking amps. So, that's kind of a conundrum. A battery with 400 cold cranking amps that passes all the other tests is, technically, a "good battery." You can buy them that way. But in fact, it shows considerable decrease of the capacity of _that particular model_ battery. What this means to me is that maybe I'll get another year of use in these relatively mild Texas winters. But I'll test it monthly or so to watch for any sudden degradations.

Why am I watching this? I have an exacvtly identical 2004 Town Car Ultimate that I drive every day to the U. 😂

It's always good to check the condition of a battery with a device such as the one that you are using, especially as the battery gets older. I also check the level of the water in the battery once every few months. If you need to add water, make sure that you only add distilled water.

I noticed you have a interstate battery I hear mixed opinions on them do suggest that brand for a replacement battery
