Crazy thing is if jazz didn't do this (face megatron to by the humans and his comrads more time) i just KNOW he would've made it to the dark of the moon film. Jazz was a pretty damn skilled and thats saying the least. he was second lutienant of the autobot team. small as he was he was the first one on the move the moment brawl attacked. Jazz was small, brave and selfless. the makings of an amazing autobot. Wish he lived longer. Rip.

This is a rare occasion, Michael Ironside playing a hero as Ultra Magnus. Right up there with Radchek from Starship Troopers. Ironside is iconic for being villians Darkseid Ricter from Total Recall Tyler from Heavy Metal 2000

I always thought that this scene was really poorly executed. The amount of people I knew at the time who didn't even see that it was Jazz in this scene... It's hard to make out what's happening since there's no build up to it in any previous scenes. It could have been so much better. A close up on Jazz's face would have made it clearer, or showing the events that led up to Megatron picking up Jazz and flying away with him.
