I'm going to paint my cabinets this fall and this was so helpful! I laughed during the runny part because I knew if I hadn't seen the video I would have been doing and saying the exact same things. Thanks for figuring it out so I didn't have to lol

This video started off really strong with the example of someone grabbing her hair, that's not cool. However, the rest of the video just revealed that she's pathologically-racially-aggrieved. There's no way to commiserate with this woman as a non-black person (and especially as a white person) and not have her attribute literally anything you do to "racism" or a "microaggression". She contradicts herself, first she claims that white people assume she prefers or is familiar with Kendrick Lamar, then she goes on to complain about white people assuming she'd be familiar with "white" pop culture. While she no doubt has some legitimate complaints, they are dwarfed by her own racial neuroses. People are 100% justified to avoid her and interpret her as hostile, because she clearly is.

You are amazing but im going to keep it real its either you are afriad to lose your job or you do not understand the supremacy you are operating in. It is not ok ,it is not normal and its a form of privilege and control. So your statement is weong to saying it is what it is,no wrong you change it #Powernomics (dr Claude Anderson, read 📚)

Just had to say Thank You for this. This video was extremely helpful in me getting my Ghana visa. I did exactly as you did except for the fake welcome letter, i just used my hotel booking instead. My visa took only a week for me to receive. The only thing i forgot was to include my return fedex receipt in the envelope but they said i could email it to them. The whole process was very quick for me😁

Shocking it's acting, to be honest bro you really have to understand it's fake. They don't associate with blacks at any level except money.

Black here, raised by my bio father and mother. I've always found that black people with a problem with white people in the workplace 1: Do the "micro-aggressions" thing. They get upset over innocent stuff. They're the people who think "good morning" has racist/lynching roots, and other dumb crap 2: ONLY have black friends (guess what, you're racist. Not sure what happened, maybe you're a result of a racist single mother. That happens to us). You don't have white friends because you've been taught to think they're evil and/or responsible for the outcomes of the bad choices your mother made which resulted in your family not being middle class. You don't have asian or spanish friends because you just don't like people that aren't black. You're still on that "us vs them" crap, when we're actually in the same boat. 3: Are women. Black women are THE most racist, and toxic people I've ever come across. Everything is taken the wrong way. THIS is why you're labelled as aggressive. You walk into a room and people KNOW you're a problem because you frown immediately upon seeing white people. When you deal with white people, you're constantly looking for a chance to get a verbal punch in, so you have this hostile, sarcastic, fake-friendly thing going and people can see that Other black people don't have your back because more than likely, they are SOCIALIZED, they have friends from other races, and are cool with people who aren't black. The problem is YOU, and even THEY see that. Yes, the hood is an unsafe place, everybody knows that. The least safe place a black man can be is AROUND OTHER BLACK MEN. Hell yes we will admit black areas are messed up. I don't have to speak well of criminals and thugs just because I'm black. And a place being called a "ghetto" has nothing to do with a particular race. It is a low-income, high crime area, period.

I mentioned to hire up ladies how my partner showed me the evening before how to drive his stick shift … and she said “oh yeah now should be easier to steal a car , just start in this parking lot” meaning the lot of our work place and I did not find that funny at all . Being I come from the bay where it’s always car jacking ls and problems … I did not find it funny at all… cause why did u feel a need to even say that ? I thought she was going to say “ how was it driving manual” at least . And yes YT

I feel like your co workers do not know how to interact with a person of color, I'm guessing it's so new for them. The conversation you had with the co worker about where you lived did come off as intrusive, racist, and classicist he sounds like a stuck up because she is privileged and she would most likely look down her nose at a poor white person. I would not interact with someone like her. . People or color also use the word ghetto possibly to refer to the crime and the safety issues and their dislike for having to live in such an area it can be scary, robbed in your hallway at gunpoint, car window smashed, etc. I don't feel that using the word ghetto is being racist towards people or color.it's sort of the reality of where you live.

I don't understand why you need to do that in the first place. Like you were born in America right. Your native language is english. So I don't understand what the code you're switching to is for. Like what are you doing that for? You don't have to adapt to english. That's like a racist view towards black people honestly. Thinking that you're not smart enough to catch on to normal english. When you are smart enough to do so so that's one thing I just don't

I think that people focus on bad neighborhoods that have a lot of Black and Hispanic people. But I think they forget that other neighborhoods have the same characteristics regardless of the people there. Like you there are some neighborhoods that are mainly white or mainly hispanic. With no black people in them and it's still a messed up neighborhood because it's messed up. Really doesn't have to do with the color
@AnneJoseph-qk2ns2 ай бұрын
When I think of sketchy I think of the neighborhood I grew up in what I was 11 years old. I grew up around Alpine street. So I can't remember all the streets anymore it's so long ago dang it is almost 20 years now. But back then I grew up in this one area it was bridge Street there was Douglas Street and there was like Fulton Street or I forget what that street was. But like this is in Grand rapids Michigan the area code is 49504. If you know that zip code. Is like literally sketchy. And it's got nothing to do with race. Like there's mainly it used to be mostly white people there. But then it kind of got some Hispanic people there. They didn't really have Annie black people. Their I don't remember I don't remember any of my neighbors being black. I don't remember any of the bars being black. I don't remember any of the drunks that fell asleep on the grass and couldn't get up from their drunk stupid. Near the bus stops. Being black. I remember they were either Hispanic or white.so I mean I don't remember anybody of any ethnicity of that nature. But that was definitely a sketchy neighborhood. Very scary trying to walk down those streets in the middle of the night. Trying to go to like your job or whatever. Very sketchy very scary. The broken down bars nearby. The broken down businesses. That were just so raggedy. Like so fucked up in the houses were so fucked up. Like when we moved into the apartment of stairs that we lived at. We got mice in the house every weekend. Every weekend there will be a mouse behind the fridge. A new mouse too because every weekend they would die in a mousetrap. We had a landowner who specifically put some kind of wool down in the wall to try and stop them from coming through the hole. Those mice basically bit through eventually after a year. And then came through and then killed himself again in the so that's how raggedy it was. Like we have flies and the flies just kept coming through the windows. It was almost like we didn't have freaking windows. And all the houses were just like that. Just extremely raggedy cracked up that was definitely a sketchy neighborhood and all capacities. It was near the John Ball park zoo. Basicallythat was definitely a sketchy neighborhood and all capacities. It was near the John Ball park zoo. Basically if you look up that area that's like a really sketchy ass area To me sketchy areas are just exactly that. It doesn't matter who lives in the houses or how the business is who's owning the businesses are going to the businesses are going to the bars. It's a matter of how that area looks if it looks sketchy it looks sketchy it doesn't matter who's using the dutlers store. Which there were some dutlers who were specifically mainly black people in them. But that Dutlers was mainly white people. And it was all the same because all dutlers were messed up. To me sketchy is just exactly that it's a type of neighborhood. And some people live in those neighborhoods. Of all different colors
@AnneJoseph-qk2ns2 ай бұрын
No ghetto is a behavior. It's also the way you guys talked. And the thing is you can see that black people and white people from the ghetto talk a certain way they speak language in a certain way it's hard to understand them. Regardless of if they're white or black. It's their dialect. That has nothing to do with race. It has to do with a behavior
@AnneJoseph-qk2ns2 ай бұрын
Well your problem is probably more so why do you see yourself as ghetto? Because that's not specific to Black people. If you feel that that's where you came from. Then that's a family issue. That's an environmental issue. But it's not specific to Black people. There are white people from the ghetto too. So saying that term isn't actually racist. My mother uses that term I use that term. People use that term. People of color use that term. If we can't use that term can we use the term trash I mean that's also a term that's not very good either. I mean like you're saying you can't even reference low class people as trash or Ghetto when that's exactly what some of them are.
@AnneJoseph-qk2ns2 ай бұрын
I didn't say anything about ethnicity though they just said it was. Ghetto. It's okay to say something is ghetto if it's ghetto.
