I started to do this and I do combination knitting so my purl stitches were different with the lead in the back instead of the front. Also I had yarn that wanted to split and I was using two strands. Not the best………………but I made it. Yea!

I used two skeins of our new Zooey Stripes from Juniper Moon, can’t recall the color name at the moment (thanks for the compliment!) ❤️

You had me when you said, “Brevard, North Carolina”. I’m Irish living in Scotland and your voice is just so beautiful to me. The content of this video was also beautiful and so very helpful. Thankyou for sharing all this Rebecca and for everything you do on KZfaq. Thanks to you I have knitted two ranunculus sweaters and enjoyed the ride so much. Well done for getting that tangle untangled! And the glimpse of you lovely cat. Thankyou. Xx

I can call myself a master of detangling as I have a naughty little dachshund who likes to help me knit - making a mess of my yarn in the process. I have been in tears and said bad words 😜 I got really frustrated in the past and pulled the yarn and made things worse. Now I take a deep breath and follow the way of the yarn tangles. It’s like finding your way out of a maze. It takes time but feels good in the 😅end. I also learned my lesson to never leave my knitting unattended.

An overreaction is one that makes the problem worse. Self-control is something that requires perspective, and knowing which things are big deals and which are not.

Hi! Thanks for the video, but a question: I prefer to do a Norwegian purl, will this affect the rows that require purling with the yarn in front? Love the video, thank you! About to start my first Ranunculus :)

Love your yarn! Your tutorials are great, thank you so much. I do have a question in section 3 yoke,round 3. Is this round just a normal K2tog K2? The wording knit first stitch and loop together is making me question myself. 😊

Pretty much everything you said is foreign to me... but I'll answer you the one question you asked kinda repeatedly in a different way... free video tutorial is best for me! If it's not free, I don't need it. Yarn costs enough, I can't pay more than a dollar per ounce for a good wool blend, or - and I hope this doesn't defend anyone - those blown tube net yarns of cast off short staple fibers. I'm on limited income at this stage of life, there's just not much to go around, not to mention, I'm fat and have to buy more skeins/balls of yarn to go around me! BTW, I love the sweater you have on I aspired to do something like that one day.

Hi Rebecca! Your tutorials are really very helpful. You're one amazing teacher. I'm new with Garter mosaic stitches but slowly figure the idea behind. Amy's pressed flower projects are for sure unique. Love the technic of flat or round stitches. As I'm about to make the raglan pullover I slowly understand that top down the little V's become little A's 😅 ...and I guess I've to start with the higher back (German short rows) following Amy's written instructions. I just try without thinking too much. But I wanted to thank you for your great lessons. I'd be lost without! Greetings from Austria, Hilde

Thank you! I just bought the pattern and ready to dive in. An Italian Knitter's podcast mentioned you so I headed on over. Such good info. I'm a newer sweater knitter and been wanting to make this. With your help thru your videos I think I can! I need to visit your shop as I'm not far from you. Hopefully I can bring my finished Ranunculus. :). Enjoy your day and thanks again!

I’ve decided to try this pattern using 100%silk yarn, and after casting with this method, the circumference is still too small to join the stitches in the round. It just doesn’t look big enough to slip over my head, Is it perhaps me cause silk doesn’t stretch enough? Should I try the larger yoke or use larger needles ?
@sandrasemkiw7582Ай бұрын
Why is there so little info available about a true "Top down" shawl? Not the garter tab start, but a full cast on of the long first row, then back and forth with DECREASES to the pointed bottom . ( the Yarn Harlot does do a short mention in her book) You do long stitch rows when the project is new and you're full of enthusiasm and when you hit that "Oh Lord is this ever going to be finished" your shorter and shorter rows fly!
