Philippines is not cheap if you compare to cost of living in Malaysia. Gasoline is 2x the price in Manila as compared to Malaysia. Food is abundant in Malaysia and way cheaper than in Philippines, depends on whast you chose to eat. Utilities are also more expensive than Malaysia. Besides, its much cleaner in Malaysia than in Manila, Philippines which polluted and lots of rubbish. Philippines should start a campaign to plant more trees in the city to help reduce pollution. Its really suffocating in Manila. The province areas are much nicer. If you want to live in the Philippines, consider buying a house in Province areas, Live a laid back life with small business. Well thats the plan yet to be made into reality.

I have lived in the Philippines before now moving back to CDO for good. You better have some sort of guaranteed monthly income or you will be in trouble. If you live like a Filipino hermit you can get by on $1,200 a month. Add booze, Western food, GF, her family, a vehicle and bada bing $2,000-$2,500 including renting a decent house. Always visit first if you never been before. If you haven't had any interaction with Filipinos before get ready for some shocking sh&t. Always, always have a minimum of $2,500 stashed away that nobody knows about. Just in case. Lastly, always have a quick and easy exit plan if things don't work out. PS: When you do go always under pack. Many things can be bought for cheap still.

That's pretty good advice. I think the people who will benefit from moving there are people who work remotely for Western wages or those who have some other form of guaranteed income.

Man, all is lost if half the population is in fear for their lives when there is no persecution and the other could care less about persecuting anyone and just want to be left alone to make their own choices and these people are persecuting us! Just let people live and stop trying to make choices for them in a free country so we can all grow and we can all live!

$600 -- $1500 / mo. is a reasonable spread - for "how" - & - "where" essentially - and - 'that' offers a much more affordable "range" than is available in - "Biden's America" these days !!! --- Homeless population has exploded in the US - and continues to get worse & worse. Home repo's car repo's have exploded and food costs continue to soar out of sight for many. The so called "middle class" is disappearing ! - - - Another video I saw reports a possible lifestyle for up to 70% less than the US average cost of living. (?) That is a game changer for many on small SS incomes. --- Cambodia also offers a chance like that for much cheaper living - as many US expats report a comfortable retirement on about $800 / mo. in Siem Reap for example. More like $1200 in the Capital.

...a simple lodge...oh yes we all have one of those. Louis XIV was an awful monarch. His wars and spending, along with France's later support for America's War of Independence, bankrupted the country, and cost the lives of countless millions.

Yes if you have to live in the hub of say Cebu City your Condo will cost 600 US up a month for a 19-21 sgm apt. Then there are monthly maintenance fees for the condo water and electric bills .Easily 800US month at minimum . Now we have a 2 bedroom townhouse 50 Sgm in Compostela Cebu outside the city in a gated community with armed guards. Cost with water subdivision dues electric max 500US month. So living in the Philippines is dependant on your lifestyle and preference. 800 US or more vs 500US.I can walk to the beach less than 1000ft. Plenty of stores near gate ,fresh Banana farm various Sari Sari stores inside the community. Yesterday a brand new Jollibee restaurant open in Town less than a mile away. Life here is great and don't have too put up with all the pollution and noise of living in Cebu City.😮😅Purchased our townhouse in 2019 payments 320US month . I was paying 700 month in the US for less rooming a 1 bedroom.apt.

Hello sir, How are you ? Sir I want to give some tips about your youtube channel. Your video content is really good. But views and subscriptions are very less. You need to do channel SEO to increase subscribers and views, meaning your video is not full SEO. Your SEO score is too low, your SEO score needs to be over 90. Video SEO and organic promotion are the main reasons why videos go viral. If you do SEO and promotion then your channel will get lots of subscribers and views. For now you can do channel SEO or video and organic promotion. Your channel will grow very fast. Because your video content ideas are very good.

Just be careful guys. Visit 1st and get all the info you can. The Philippines is no longer the cheap panacea it was back in the 50 thru 9o's. Prices have risen. And if you can, let a Filipina do your shopping for you. It will be cheaper. Remember, you are seen as $$$$$ to a lot of the natives. And they will try to take you. I lived in the PI for 4 yrs with my wife. But decided to come back to the states I prefer my amenities here. So remember to take lot of money with you if visiting. And if you decide to live there....Have a concrete plan..
