I really like the addition of blue lights to the front and sides, but I'm surprised there aren't any on the rear.🚨🚨

@@thelightguy2 my department only has one blue light on the front of the big trucks, none on the sides of anything, and one blue and one amber on the rear of everything. The small trucks and Chief's cars have no blue on the front either. It's a mess, but hopefully I can get on the vehicle committee for our next new engine in a few years.

I'm gonna break this Gen Alpha sh*t show by saying.. 1: Code 3 siren, nice. And 2: I notice a black square on the bumper, where a Q2B once was... I'm curious: Is the Q currently getting worked on or full-fledged removed for good , or was it like this?

I do not believe there was ever a Q2B on this rig. The black square is a pocket for identifier placard inserts.

@@thelightguy2 A spare number placard, sort of like Philadelphia and FDNY. Interesting. When a spare is used, they usually carry a number on the card, not run a truck that has no number on it.

@@shaneharrisnj3484 Yeah I’m not sure why they didn’t put a placard in at the time, usually they do. Something interesting is that Fremont Fire has it where every rig uses placards, regardless of whether it’s a reserve or not.

Does anyone know why my PA200 tones sound wonky until I bend the wiring harness a certain way? Manual will activate automatically, winding continuously, same with wail and yelp turns into a solid tone. Hilo is unaffected.

@@burkanx5546 I’m not very familiar with these older sirens but I would assume that your power or ground wires may be making contact with other inputs. I would make sure the connectors are insulated and not shorting each other.

I have a question. Do Whelen Epsilon tones actually sound different from just "Whelen" sirens , or is Epsilon just the product name for the siren speaker/controller?

@@SkyDream0655 Different departments use different tones. Faster tones are typically used when there is more traffic like at an intersection. The international tones are used by departments outside of the United States.

I live right up the street. That area is dangerous and has fences and no swimming signs all over. People go there all the time and have huge BBQs, alcohol and mKe a mess. Trash everywhere. The police should crack down and ticket people. It's sad a little girl died there. They should never been there in the first place. I'm not blaming the parents. It's kind of like the city allows it. How are they supposed to know. Hopefully they'll put a stop to it. Keep people out of there
