I love how Tails is self aware that his story about how he died wasn’t too long, but all he knew was Xeno wasn’t the Sonic that Tails knew. Knuckles puts BF to the test to see if he can defeat Xeno for good and pushes BF towards the good ending. Robotnik is of course against Xeno, Xeno is the closest replica to Sonic you can get, so Robotnik gives BF a plan to destroy Xeno once and for all. And no doubt that Xeno doesn’t believe in BF that he can stop Xeno from wreaking havoc on society. And in each section, there’s a part where the titular soul is against Xeno, but Xeno is aware and still pushes them to kill BF
