Both sound good! A&T is my Alma Mater, but most of my fam went to NCCU so it’s all love.

Like I been saying and gonna keep saying.The band of the year clearly was Jackson State.Since A&T has history in ATL.The favortism went in their in favor.I was born and raised in NC.A&T just don't have the heart like they did in the 80s,90s and early 2000.You can clearly see it over the years since 2000.Especially with the conference changes which was stupid on their part for leaving the MEAC

Cold Steel for the W!!

Central was aiight (meaning better than they used to be...their punch actually remind me of a Cold Steel punch in the late 90's early 2000s...still high schoolish but cleaner...it got madd boring at the end. Unlike the Football game CS for the win! And this is coming from a Cold Steel Alum F.A.O.D. #8 Fall 99

Why are folks acting like DOA was sorry? They was nice. Both lines have different strengths. Cold Steels strength is showmanship, getting the crowd into it. DOA strength is blocking up and battling. While CS got more love lets be honest the material wasn't harder than DOA.

@Gnosis6398 ай бұрын
@@stickdog1230 i did this for many many years and the material between both schools is on the same level of difficulty they just operate differently. One uses more showmanship to get the crowd involved and the other doesn't care too much about the crowd, they want to technically beat the opposing line down, so they aren't moving too much or dancing too much, just playing their drum.
@zaishaw66028 ай бұрын
Bro that sequence at 1:34 was definitely next level. One thing about A&T is their drumline does those smooth ass transitions into different tempos better than anyone. A&T has both showmanship and technicality. It’s not a time where a drum isn’t getting beat even if they’re dancing which is even more impressive
@zaishaw66028 ай бұрын
Also the more I watch this video central was doing hella stick tricks. A&T was playing their drums a lot more especially in the first round. Centrals material also isn’t anything difficult, they have a very colorful tonal section but other than that I’m not impressed.

Is it DCI quality 🤔 you look, you decide
@Gnosis63910 ай бұрын
Do you think DCI is the standard that everyone is graded on? Believe it or not, everyone doesn't want to be like DCI and guess what? That's OK!! I respect all styles, they all have their place. It would be so boring if everyone was DCI. I love being able to see different styles.

NCCU has become a lot cleaner and I love it. I see A&T being cleaner and showing more technique. Love the challange of both, it grows the culture and I love how all are giving their all. Big ups to both sections.... I love my HBCU's I support them all!! I am an Aggie thru and thru but love us together in beautiful competition!!! I do see the influence of the famu band director on NCCU.. get it it NCCU and grow. As far as NCAT grow further and become more than cold steel, become the greatest in the world continue all to learn the craft and thank you both teams for giving us such great artistry!!!! HBCU for life!!! WE are ONE
