Aldo Ray's chest was every bit as impressive as that of Tina Louise. Scientifically speaking. And the second best thing in this is Bernstein's score.

Michael Whalen was gorgeous in this film! Oh my. 😍

130 Years of this footage

It took me a couple minutes to realize this has some deep satirical comment. It made me think of how Jonathan Swift's "A modest proposal" was not initially well received because people thought he seriously was suggesting that babies should be eaten. It also reminded me of the family in Mary Poppins, where the father was the king of his castle and a captain of industry, and the wife's silly work was as a suffragist. And then the TV show with Archie Bunker, where the point was not to give credence to a self-proclaimed bigot, but to allow people to see what their views look like In broader society. I don't think I would watch this again, but it was interesting to take a minute to reflect on how society changes, or does not. Things to think about

Anyone else under 20 years old who loves Shirley Temple’s movies, or just any movies from the 30s and 40s? I’m 17 teen and I watch old movies all the time. I love how calm and funny they are. Not overstimulating like most movies are today.

Somehow this became a "Christmas" movie. Though there is no mention of it and it's not during the season. Just one of those movies you want to watch at Christmastime...

Will be part 2? I wonder where the man will go

57:12 My big brother was just like him!❤ Under water welder in the Navy, tough as brass, but would just go pick up the baby & have no issues seeing to their needs! He probably changed more of mine than anyone!😂😂❤ And when home on leave, caught him up with our baby nieces, they were clean, fed & playing❤ Thank GOD for such salts of the earth!❤
