I think what’s interesting is that Russ mentioned he doesn’t really look at UK drill artists like that… meanwhile the rest of the world are looking at our talent. The UK scene is definitely experiencing a level of growth that needs to be upkept, whether that’s through collabing or just having a PR “brotherhood” to keep things connected. (Maybe this is already happening, I hope so) I really hope to hear that some of the drill guys in the UK have some sort of brotherhood or kind of business relationship in a sense(not all ofc thats impossible, and you need oops for the aesthetic no?)… growth together is everything - little do they know at times this is what helps put other artists on, idk if its an ego thing thats stopping these lot from feeling connected (don’t they all do the same thing which is drill? Usually folks connect with each other when they do the same thing in life)
