They need to make the story of Sid life with a decent cast. Tom Holland as Sid would be decent casting.

I don't know for sure, but this solo style is more similar to Speeding's than Jones'.

I can see what youre saying but like myself as a guitarist i play at my best in the studio also adding ambiance and flavours to the mix to make it as large as possible that you will never hear me doing on stage, and quite offten i sound like steve on a bad day too, its what we all do isnt it, i think the mix that was acheived was massive and probably like chris Thomas said it was the lack of proper bass that made him work even harder to create something explosive and it definitely worked

Nvm Nevermind the Bollocks, here's the REAL Sex Pistols! It's nice to have an actual bass player contributing. Kind of answers the question what Metallica's And Justice For All would've sounded like had Cliff Burton lived.

The version of “My way” that appears on this specific CD is the best version and also the rarest. It’s worth finding the CD just for that track alone. “I hate you: a brief history of punk” by bomp records is the CD in question.

Box set still has repeated/out of sync announcements - is this the opening number? Or one of the other two (?) versions performed at Chelmsford. I thought Anarchy #1 was abandoned mid-song after a disturbance in the audience, and after some prisoners were escorted back to their boxes the gig resumed.

This is such a cool song but definitely different than there classics from Nevermind the bollocks. Definitely has some more typical 70s rock vibes in the vein of the stones, the dolls, T. rex….. it’s awesome, love the guitar in this one.

Sid had an energy about him i just can't describe. I wasn't around in the 70s. I'm still only 19, in fact, so i was born in the 2000s. But i have always listened to music from before my time. The sex pistols were a band that was simplistic, yet there's a reason why they became so iconic. Johnny may have been the frontman, but sid was the face of the band. Hell, sid was the face of punk really. A lot of people call him talentless but he was the opposite. Sure, he couldn't really play bass all that well, but he had a very unique voice and his solo stuff proves that. If he were to have lived longer, i have no doubt people would have realized his full potential.

the way i see it... all the documentaries in the world that has people talking about him that knew him and even there's a couple books out about him and if people still don't want to be resourceful and use those books are kind of enlighten them on who he really was as a person and that is 100% their problem I'm not making excuses for his wrong behaviors I'm not making excuses for his bad decisions but that does not make him by no means a bad person and everybody in this comment section and many others who like to put someone down and make themselves feel better. They really just need a buzz off and get a life because if you don't like him, then why are you wasting your breath and your time in the comment section of a video of someone that you don't like? that basically tells me you have nothing else better in your life to do and you're not happy until you're putting somebody down and that's about the most messed up thing I can think of and it's pretty up there with quite a few other things I can also think of I just think we need to be more wise about how we spend our time and be more open minded more open hearted and if you don't like somebody, then you by no means do not have to watch the videos you don't have to watch them on KZfaq so the only ones doing this to themselves at this point is y'all who are making these very negative and nasty comments. He's not even with the pistols at this point, so you don't have to deal with him. If you don't like him, don't look at it don't listen to him don't watch is Contant it's lightly simple, but the sea here and poster save all redundant negative nonsense ruining it for those who actually do want to enjoy says more about you than it will sid. and way to pick on somebody who's deceased when we're not even supposed to be speaking ill of the deceased because heaven, forbid anyone speak ill of you. This is an individual who can't even justify or speak for himself and you want to sit here and just say the things you say.
