As a fan of both the Chicago Bears & the Dallas Cowboys, I remember most of these players who played for both teams as if it were literally yesterday--especially Marion "The Barbarian" Barber III. Marc Columbo & Tank Johnson were Chicago Bears players at respective points in their careers & both Roy E. Williams, Jr. & Marion "The Barbarian" Barber III would sign with the Chicago Bears in the spring of 2011 as free agents after getting cut by the Dallas Cowboys.

This is a very rare game to have. In 91 the Cowboys played well against the Redskins in the regular season and would've had a chance to beat them had they met in the playoffs. However, that was the year we played Barry Sanders and the Loins, and they ended our year. I always wonder if Dallas got to play Washington in the NFC Championship Game what would've happened. Yes we probably would've lost, but I think Dallas could have won it that year too. Thx for the memories 💯💯💪..

Wow. You can't say the referees didn't try to help the poor underprivileged entitled quarterback for the Cowboys. It's just par for the course for the NFL especially when it's involving the Patriots the corruption is absolutely sickening to watch. I'm so glad that Tom Brady who was the greatest of all time has all the records that matters Rodger Goodell and the NFL are all going to go to well you know

The number of hits that QB's took at the time, while he had thrown, it's infamous....in one game it's the equivalent of a current QB's in his career .

This was appointment TV back in the day. Dallas @ San Francisco or San Francisco @ Dallas. Back when they didn't put it on at night; it was a four o'clock game ET in usually early November so the whole country could watch it. Must've been that way for about five years. We could usually even watch it here in New York, where we'd rarely get more than two games with the antiquated broadcast rules preventing a double-header game be aired opposite the Jets or Giants when they were at home. They'd find a way to air it here too when one of the New York teams was on a bye or playing at night. Thanks for the upload!

Even with Aikman at qb smith at running back and Irvin at WR on offense and Deion at cornerback 1997 was the beginning of the end of the cowboys and their dominance in the NFL as we knew it All four were not in their prime enduring injuries and they either retired from football altogether or went to another rival team Sanders went to Washington in 2000 Smith went to Arizona in 2003 Aikman & Irvin retired by the term of the 21st Century

Troy Aikman, the least deserving HOF member ever. Aside from Kurt Warner
@billierenfro7052 күн бұрын
Wrong. 3 for 3 in SBs as the starting QB for the best team in the 90s. If you’re going by that standard then Joe Montana or Terry Bradshaw shouldn’t be in the HOF.
@ryanstatt99102 күн бұрын
@@billierenfro705 Bradshaw probably shouldn't be, Montana was the best QB of his time. Multiple MVPs, while Aikman had pedestrian numbers, never led the league in anything except concussions playing behind one of the best lines in the history of the game, and was propped up by a far better supporting cast than Montana ever had. Aside from having the actual GOAT to throw to, Montana had decent players on both sides of the ball. Bradshaw, same, surrounded by HOFers and made the most of his opportunities. Which is what you're supposed to do. Aikman was a different player in those super bowls, I'll concede that, but he's the Timmy Smith of QBs
