I've purchased a compendium, so I'm not told what team I have to build. I'm a solo player, so... It's shame, they think we must play the way they want us to. If you're playing tournaments, I can see why you would want to control some things.

I'm really excited about Solo and Co-Op :) Even though the compendium teams are gone in the new edition, they still can be used in PvE of Solo and Co-OP ! <3 So killing waves of tyranids, poxwalkers etc will be possible :)

A lot of scope for making our own missions I’m sure.

I’d like some lore accurate options, i.e. you merge tau with black templars. During the initiative phase, roll 1 d6 per tau. On a 2+ that tau is slaughtered. Or if it’s dark angels, during the end of the final turning point.

Just getting 4 peices of equipment feels a bit disappointing compared to the bigger granularity of points.

i love the sandbox feel of it, making new NPOs looks pretty easy and it seems they will have different profiles on cards which makes everything pretty simple to manage.

Solo doesnt personally appeal to me but coop definitely does. Be good fun to actually play with friends against a common enemy opposed to playing against them. No feel bad moments in coop!

I think it means "...pickup marker (action) or a mission action..." (Like saying, "charge, dash or shoot action" ... It's 3 possible actions)

I hope that Gallowdark killzone/terrain and Betha Decima, Octarius... (just the terrain) will be avaible for regular purchasing for people like me that are arriving late a this kill team party lol. Also I hope this system evolves to full scenario linked campaigns, to have something similar to Blackstone fortress or Space Hulk, of course with inches measuring and moving instead of grid/hexes. Really excited to see how this game mode develops.

They are really cooking with this. Co-op games are going to be the future IMO. For those doubting look at the deep rock galactic board game. It's amazing.

I'm curious how they will do deployment and ploys in Solo/Coop. What do you think about ploys in this mode?

Got relatives who only want to play co-op games so that might be a good way to try KT with them.

Oh I like the idea very much. Always wanted to try my KT against horde Nids or Necrons. My Sallies, be it Intercessors, Phobos or Scouts teaming up with Kriegsters, Nuns with guns or Kasrkin... This will surely be fun and the possibilities are almost limitless. (plus will sure get me into owning more Kill Teams)

Looks like they are building off the dark tide ai system , which is a solid system to use . I really like how they encourage miniature agnostic as well .

Solo and coop kill team is perfect for me as I am spending more and more time at home and family, and less energy to go to my FLGS.

It looks like a great option to have for teaching a new player. However the targeting by NPOs are the hardest rules to write in any co-op game and it’s a bit telling they didn’t mention them. I’m sure it’ll get refined over time or we’ll rely on the old reliable d6.

I plaly mainly Solo Kill team games so this is a big deal for myself. My 11 year old son likes playing are own co op rules more than often than normal kill team rules so this will add to that. Also We have the Dark tide board game and have found this to be excellent as it is thermatic and we are working together for the win.

The rules remind me of darktide. Which is good. I am looking forward to it.😊

I think solo play could have potential as a team trial mode, where you don't feel bad for always looking stuff up against a real person

I hope GW keeps some extra features for narrative play (like strategic assets) or at least progression mechanics for operatives

Very excited for killteam coop

Cool that this exists, and I will try it out for sure, but I wish GW had taken advantage of the experience of co-op board game designers, who have worked for decades on optimising the automa player in their games. As it is, I expect the problem of automa actions taking longer than actual player actions to arise quite frequently, resulting in a game where set up, tear down, upkeep and cranking the automa engine take up 80% of time spent with the game.

Very excited about the solo option.. None of my locals play KT now suddenly all my box sets and crews become viable.. And maybe this is an easier way to convert a few of them..

Curious to see what the initial missions will be and bit of a surprise they will be free going forward. I like how overall basic the NPOs look, it can make initial missions simple while leaving room to complicate things later in the campaign. I want to see the details for the wounds pool for NPOs. Sort of a rebrand of the points system but would like to see what they deem appropriate for NPO numbers. Thank you for taking the precious time out of your busy schedule to make another video for the hungry masses, how truly blessed we are :D

I like it. It is another way to play the game, and I am all for it. Not everyone wants a sweaty beard experience.

Ngl ive been waiting for a very long time for this.

Out of everything that's been shown so far, the solo play is what I'm the most excited about. I have severe social anxiety and have only been to play a few face to face games. Having the option for more narrative gameplay seems like a lot of fun !

after Guards.... just pause doing Imperium Kill Teams for a bit will ya? unless you are doing GK or Custodes bespoked i think there are other factions that needs a new flavor

they just killed 3rd edition if all the compendium armies are gone, deathwatch only works in kill team not 40k, and i cant play necrons anymore
