at 17:00 regarding the Z plastic snap on to prevent leaking, the best way to have them stay on is to tape the back. I'm using Gorilla all weather outdoor waterproof duct tape.

Instructions ARE NOT very clear, especially regarding the roof plates. Rubber inserts are a joke. When you try to assemble them and insert into the top frame, they fall. There is no mention of connecting the two pieces together while there are some pre-drilled holes, and some of them are in strange places where there is no corresponding hole in the frame. I don't like when people are lying about how easy it is. My previous experience with a seasonable gazebo has helped me to assemble the frame. I've got stuck on the roof panels, so far.

Ok so I'm not the only one questioning what in the world Domi was thinking when they came up with that "Xanny" idea. Those plastic pieces are ridiculous. But, right up there are those darned rubber pieces that you have to fit on AFTER they tell you to put the roof panels on and then somehow get the holes through 4 items to line up to take a bolt. I figured if the plastic pieces are gonna be called Xannies, then we should call the rubber pieces "smackies" because they make you wanna just smack yourself the whole time you're trying to get them into place!

To ensure that the gazebo can withstand strong winds, it is best to anchor it to sturdy cement or decking.

Hopefully someone can answer this since I haven’t received an answer from the manufacturer yet. The roof slats have a smooth side and the other side more a curved and slotted side, I guess we couldn’t call it the beauty side and unfinished side like a wooden fence. This video appears to the the “smooth” side facing down so you see it from sitting inside the gazebo looking up. On Domi’s website the first photo shows the opposite with the smooth side facing up, then their third photo shows it down like it appears to be in this video. Completely confused because the website literally shown two completely different way how the roof slats should face. I instructions seem to show facing down like this video appears to but it’s very vague and never mentions which way or shows how it looks closed. Any help is greatly appreciated. The thing leakes badly on every single slat so I just want to make sure it’s installed correctly. The gutter system works but only the water that runs through the channels. Water still leaks between every single slat

@jamal111
@jamal111 Күн бұрын
@@giteshgrover I did as far as how the slats get installed, I did have them correctly. As far as the leaks go, it’s just a design issue from the way the slats sit then closed, to the design of the gutter system not being sloped. I would imaging all of the louvered pergolas are similar unless it’s some 10k brand. I still do t regret the purchase. It’s dry with light rain, it’s more heavy/windy rain it just drips all over the place. The pros far outweigh the cons in my opinion. If you need a completely dry roof system this isn’t the way to go but it handles light rain fine

It took me and 2 other dudes about 5 1/2 hours to put together. Including a ceiling fan and lights. I recently added a full wolf summer kitchen with a bar, stools and a couch sitting area outside the bar area all under the gazebo. It’s huge and will fit everything under the roof and curtains. I have a 48” Alfresco grill, prep counter with sink, ice maker and 2 refrigerators on the island kitchen. It’s perfect! Highly recommend this gazebo. I was gonna go with a tiki hut to go with the torches around my pool but this matches my home a lot better.

@@StepsH82 I siliconed the centre piece the the two caps and then used the supplied screws to attach the top cap. Two screws per end. It is impossible to do it the way they say, and you see they are not answering my question. Other than that the shed went up great, you do need to start on a solid foundation and make sure it is square.
