this happened to my ERF in the seventies- just make sure that there's a hole in the fuel cap that air can get in and equalise the air pressure_ I drilled a hole in mine and placed a split pin in it - problem solved

At 7:22 ...removing the mold ....molten material pours out. There IS a documented procedure on this entire process from beginning to end. I wonder how long the "cooling" time is BEFORE the removal of the forms. I would expect that ALL the molten material should be cooled enough to be in a "solid" state BEFORE the removal of the forms. In order to know the answer, the Engineering Procedure needs to be known. Typical previous comment is nothing more than a generalized overview of the process. Nothing detailing this "cooling time" .....just "When the iron has solidifies sufficiently ...". I would NOT be surprised if this joint has NOT cooled long enough. .
