"Here's looking at you kid!" I apologize but I am going to use all my Casablanca quotes. Casablanca is the great 1942 Humphrey Bogart movie. I suggest you watch it then "Round up the usual suspects.". Don:t forget to demand "Play it Sam!" If you are in a piano bar. Very impressive EB! That mosque is gorgeous. BTW, island girl, if you visit Dallas Fort Worth, it is a very big Metroplex with one of the busiest airports in the US. DFW has more than double the population of Casablanca. So be prepared and be forewarned, and "I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship." I only used 4 quotes. I have more in reserve for future vlogs.

@takeoffgirl15 күн бұрын
No, I did the Salt mines on one day (in the morning) and the concentration camps on another day (8 am - 5 pm). I remember though that some people who were on the concentration camps tour went to the salt mines afterward, they just switched bus. Therefore there must be a tour that includes the 3. Thanks for the comment, I hope mine is useful 😉

In February of 1945 the US and Great Britain firebombed Dresden for two days. Much of the city was destroyed and tens of thousands were killed. It was a very controversial attack. My favorite American writer, Kurt Vonnegut was an American soldier who was captured by the Germans during the Battle of the Bulge. He was a prisoner of war being held in Dresden. The prisoners were held in an underground meat locker in a slaughterhouse. His famous book "Slaughterhouse Five" was inspired by his war time experiences. Dresden has plenty of history. Thanks for showing the rebuilt city.

Prague is another city that I want to visit. I would like to see the intersection where Heydrich was assassinated and Saints Cyril and Methodius Cathedral where the assassins were trapped. These places are famous WWII historic locations, but all of Europe is a historic location. Operetion Anthropoid is a movie about the Heydrich assassinaion. Thank you EB! Get some rest young lady. That is a lot of travelling you are undertaking.

This inspires me to learn more about Poland. I know a little about Warsaw, the city where relatives on my wife's side fled from in 1903. I know a little about Bialystok where my good friend Anna lives, but I only know about Krakow from war novels and movies. James Michener's "Poland" is on my list to read. Poland is on my list of places to visit - after I visit Italy, of course. Thank you EB! Your vlogs are valuable and entertaining.

Seems like a nice place. I love your Bela Lugosi shirt. I put on Bauhaus' song Bela Lugosi's dead as I watched your video. I still listened to your wonderful accent, but the Bauhaus intro to that song fit so well with your video. I had both playing simultaneously. Bela Lugosi's dead came out in 1979, long before you were born. You should listen to it someday if you aren't familiar with it. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/j99pm5WixMrWaZ8.htmlsi=guPXlayV7TDulTUW
