We found Amiot sculptures throughout the region, but the Florence stree ones were so much fun. Btw, our livers (and waste lines) do need a little break from all of the breweries. It's gonna take us a while to hit that next 100....Ha ha!

I'm impressed with the two of you and your ability to adapt. But there is one thing I would like to ask and that is "what kind of gas mileage do you get with your Super C?? Keep the real video's going for they are a pleasure to watch. How is the Brewery count in California??
@ClassCBroads

Thanks for the kind words. We typically get between 7 and 8 mph, running around 65 mph. We know folks who run closer to 55 mph who report that they do a little better. As for the brewery count, stay tuned!

@ClassCBroads
@ClassCBroads 8 күн бұрын
It was a stressful time, but we learned so much! As for the campround, the west side might be better in theory, yes. However, when we were planning, we did not see good options on the west side. For example, there's just a couple in Soledad, but it's still a 30-minute drive to the Balconies trailhead.

Hey gals.. You were downtown on a Wednesday, which is even quieter than a Tuesday would be- Thursday, Fri, and Sat. are bussier - but it looked like it was kind of a quiet Farmers, as it used to be packed. The M stands for Mission as in Mission school surprisingly. Hope you had a fun time visiting.. I want to see Rapid City sometime.

@@ClassCBroads Next trip you guys should go up to Cambria/ San Simeon and around there when the elephant seals are active. They are worth the trip by themselves, they are hilarious and a must see especially during mating season. Of course, there are some pretty good RV campsites I think up there as well that might be better than El Chorro.. and even some kind of in the coastal redwoods a bit further north of San Simeon like Limekiln etc that would be fun to camp in. Not sure the brewery situation up there, might be a dealbreaker ;)

I've been a full time happy camper with Americas Mailbox since 2020. No problems until last year when I needed to get a savings account. I was told by many online and brick & mortar banks that you had to give them an physical location address and that Americas Mailbox address was not acceptable. It took over a month and a couple call to Americas Mailbox. They suggested calling Black Hills Federal Credit union and they were very helpful. Later that year the company I trade stocks with emailed me echoing the same thing and I had so many days to provide them with an acceptable location address. It was all an online change of address form. Americas Mailbox could not help me with this one. One day I had an idea and tried variations on my PMB address. I finally had luck when I took out one letter and the online form accepted it. 514 America Way PMB *****. I was told by someone else, not Americas Mailbox, that the government is trying to reduce the number of people roaming freely around the country so they can round them up easier, to control the population. I don't know about that. Have you or anyone you know, run into this and how was it solved? Great video. Thank you.
@ClassCBroads
@ClassCBroads 28 күн бұрын
The government is not out to get you or anyone else. The Patriot Act requires the bank to get an address: "(i) For an individual, a residential or business street address; (ii) For an individual who does not have a residential or business street address, an Army Post Office (APO) or Fleet Post Office (FPO) box number, or the residential or business street address of next of kin or of another contact individual...." www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/31/1020.220 ************* We've just used the address of a family member. Our banks also ask for a separate "mailing address" and the PMB is acceptable for that. Also, as a practical matter, the address requirement is not an issue because we do all of our banking online. ************* America's Mailbox actually gives this same advice on its website: americasmailbox.com/americas-community/patriot-act/

I found your channel after seeing a used Entegra Accolade XL at one of the dealers online and began searching for reviews on it. I watched several of your videos and subscribed. I am at full retirement age but my job is fully remote and the thought hit me to go see the country while still working full-time from a rig. Anyway, this video was great but it really hit me what you all said about the differences melted away and the focus was on what you all had in common. That was beautiful. I've been getting very discouraged over the past few years because the media and the politicians are deliberately stoking the flames of division for their own agendas. I just really loved that you got to experience that and talked about it. The country would be far better if we could all just focus on the commonalities and allow the differences. Love watching your videos gals.

Well, first, congrats on making a change. We've been full-timing for 2+ years now, and overall, we are happy with our decision. We are headed to our second Super C rally in July and are looking forward to seeing some of the folks we met at the last one. Yes, there's something about sitting around a campfire with your beverage of choice that brings people together. Everybody pretty much loves sharing stories about their travels and/or rig. The rally organizers also deserve a lot of credit for setting the rally vibe. You have to really *work* to look past the differences nowadays, especially during those first encounters. We've since met up with some other Accolade owners that we met at the first rally; they are ~180-degrees away from us politically, but we love them anyway. Ha ha. We're an odd foursome to say the least.....

Big tip,,,,,,, Never,,,,,,, ok one more time NEVER pick all the weight with your levelers ,, Especially the front . Go back look how much weight is in front of those jacks cantilevered out. You don’t have to be an engineer to see what will give. Double that on a super c.
@ClassCBroads
@ClassCBroads Ай бұрын
I agree with your advice. Please note that in our case, we were camping and had leveled the coach like we always do. That means that ALL tires are on the ground at ALL times. The jacks are lowered to help release the air out of the rear air bags. They jacks were not hyper-extended or anything like that for the project. The jacks were in their normal position for camping (at a very level site, btw). I very much understand your concern and advice about using jack stands. Thank you.

Thank you for that advice. That is a great point as safety should be the #1 priority. Please note that in our case, we were camping at a commercial campground with sites that were already very level to begin with. We had leveled the coach like we always do. That means that ALL tires are on the ground at ALL times. The levelers are lowered to help release the air out of the rear air bags. The levelers were not hyper-extended or anything like that for the project. In 2+ years, we've never had the levelers slip or anything like that when camping. I get (and appreciate) your point though.
