I don't recall the exact name, but I stopped using it long ago and have been using Hodoku ever since. It's free and really poweful.

why you didn't pick r4 as pair for r2 x-wing? what made you to choose r5 over r4? bcoz r2&r4 can also form x shape?
@Shuey187 Жыл бұрын
Because r2 and r5 are the only two rows where a 4 exists in two places where those form a perfect rectangle/x-wing.
@arunprakash1873 Жыл бұрын
@@Shuey187 But if you look at r2,r4 for a rectale/x-win

This is pretty cool but it makes it seem like intentionally learning bad practices/habits. If you ever find yourself trying to solve a Sudoku outside of HoDoKu... You won't have all of these tools that auto-notate and highlight everything for you. It's like playing a completely different game. 🤔
@Shuey187 Жыл бұрын
I can certainly understand where you're coming from but I have to firmly disagree with you (at least from my perspective and experience). Using Hodoku has helped me become a better player, including when I play on just straight up paper with a pencil.

Very nice intro to this. I am subscribed to the three channels that you mentioned but I just heard about HoDoKu and looked for a review. I like the way presented this and I am going to watch part 2 but you already convinced me to give it a shot. A free program with a wide choice of options and appears to be easy to use...I'm in! New Sub😎

The key is that in the two ROWS there are no other fours. That is what allows the certainty of the X Wing. I may have missed that explanation.
