Got a question. I had to replace front wheel bearings in the Brake Drum on a 94 Trx300 2x4. Should I grease the axle a little upon reinstalling the drum or is it ok just like it is?

I'm amazed at how many people think 8' x 8' = 8 sqft! That's 64 folks. If you have an 8' wall that's 10' long, you need EIGHTY sqft of coverage.

I have one of these on my Honda Rancher, yes, it’s expensive and it doesn’t do all that much, but I love what it does to the sound. Especially on a single cylinder engine, it definitely smooths out the puttering sound. I wish the manufacturers would give consumers a choice, someone like me, who uses it as a utility vehicle, I would like to have the bike as quiet as possible, others who are mud bogging etc. might want a more aggressive sound, let us have the choice. Thanks for the side by side comparison.

I had a 2001 300 4x4. It was a great four-wheeler. And it had high low range. It would do the work that the 400 would do. Just a tad slower.

Very informative video but the happy music in in the tutorial should be something much more metal. The rage that filled me when I got to the brake drum was overwhelming. Beating on it with a 5 lb hammer and torching it while soaking it with penetration oil. The spline not giving up and my hands black while mosquitoes are eating me alive. Please let me know if there's a step I missed while trying to take the drum off. It's an 1988 Fourtrax😅

Canadian engineering. The Rugged Universal Power Steering system will work correctly for 1 year and then it’s designed to break down progressively. Just watch the front tire uneven wear. My defender will go off the road every 40yds. I took it to the extreme power sports dealership where I bought it to have the alignment realigned 3 times, failing each time. Strike three - then Travis the service manager stated, “there is nothing we can do because the computer sets the alignments”. That’s nonsense and we all know this because you don’t have to be a service manager to realize you just have to install a new steering gear unit trashing the old because Canadian engineering in China by Mexicans sux. Never again. Can Am makes toys for boys, not tools for utility. What a mistake. Buy a tractor if you need to do real work. Make sure it’s not engineered in Canada, assembled in China .

Would this be the cause of oil coming out of over flow from pressure build up?
@everythingatv-utv-reviews35652 ай бұрын
Possibly or a broke/wore piston ring letting pressure into the crankcase.

Thanks for this video. I just broke the gear shift lever this afternoon, because the gator is extremely difficult to shift. The lever I can get locally. I'm wondering what lube I want to use on the clutch, and also on the "linkage" between the lever and the clutch housing. Any suggestions? Thanks again for posting, and thumbs way up.

I just tried this. I followed the video instructions exactly, and the dang puller tool actually broke off inside the clutch. Now what? I tried a screw extractor, but no luck. Can the primary clutch be removed without the puller tool?
@everythingatv-utv-reviews35652 ай бұрын
Sorry it's taken so long to respond, I've never seen that happen. We're you able to extract it? Not aware of any other method.
@SuperSaiyanX-00142 ай бұрын
@everythingatv-utv-reviews3565 The video is over 8 years old, so I'm surprised that you responded at all lol. A friend tried extracting it, but no luck. The tool is 8" long, with 5" broken inside the clutch, and it's 3" deep. My ATV is currently at the shop. My mechanic said this happened because the tool was made of a weaker metal. He might have to cut off the clutch just to get it out. He might be able to save it, but he's pretty sure that I'll need to purchase a new primary clutch, which usually go for around $250 🙁

I love Yamaha, only brand I buy.....but that 450 they put in quads and Rhino's is underpowered junk. Repaired a Grizz 450 n thought it would have some power since the 660 is an animal and told the customer to get rid of it. Gutless, slow, an Embarrassment to Yamaha.

I know this is a good cleaner, but in my recent carb budget rebuilding I discovered vinegar is the best and cheapest thing to use. I set a carb that looked worse than this one (hard to judge because we didn’t do a side by side, but it’s the worst carb I’ve seen in my short life). After an hour soak in vinegar and a good scrub and rinse, thing looks brand new. Super easy to find, and definitely cheaper. As a younger guy, I love seeing all the old school tricks that seem to be forgotten in this world of ever evolving technology.

@@hectorheredia311 any brand distilled white vinegar. I’d imagine the stronger the vinegar the faster it would work but I just used cheap, normal household vinegar.

I have a 2005 Arctic Cat 650 V2 (Kawasaki engine). My KEBC Aculator is making weird noises, and my drive belts keep shredding. My mechanic says that the Aculator motor is going out and that I need to replace it. Is it possible that a simple cleaning would solve the issue, or should I order a new one? How can you tell if it's actually going out or not?
