I have lived this song from the first time I heard her sing it. It is one of my karaoke songs 🎵

I have been a huge fan of Bette's forever 😍. Two of these jokes I have never heard before and laughed out loud.

Johnny liked her very much, she’s a huge talent and can make anything funny then sad and back again! He gave her the big break she needed, he called her over to sit on her first performance. And if you know the lady she puts on quite the show in person, usually beyond crazy but fabulous ❤❤❤❤

Bette's version of this song helped me to discover The Andrew Sisters. Interestingly, Christina Aguilera used the same technique (though more sophisticated than 1973) in her video "Candyman."

Thank you. This song has always brought tears to my eyes, but this intro has just helped me realize that many of my neighbours don't respond to my hellos because they're carrying an egg.
