Awesome video Sean, just subscribed! Real quick i’m trying to decide on one of those budget launch monitors I like to swing caddie, Garmin R10. Can anyone of these be put on a projector and a screen app on your phone? Thanks for your help. Looking to use simulator so I think about that.R10.

I was thinking about getting the flight scope mevo because I need one that I can change for elevation when I play different courses so I know my exact yardages. But I just went to there website to check out the reviews and now I’m not sure about the mevo. What launch monitor do u recommend that can change for different elevations or altitudes thanks

Overall, had a very poor experience with Arccos from start to finish. In bullet points, here was my experience: - signed up and paid for trial but it was completely missed by their team. Spent back and forth with customer service troubleshooting what was missed. Finally figured it out and got the ball moving. - wanted to maximize my free trial by timing the receiving of the sensors that lined up with me playing as many rounds as possible but due to their team missing my initial order, I wasn't able to do so. missed my first two anticipated rounds. - once I got the sensors, the set up process was not as easy as advertised. - once I got all sensors paired and I was ready to use them for the first time, the app said I didn't have enough clubs paired to used the system. I was trying to troubleshoot on the first tee with clients of mine. Not ideal. - after contacting their team, I came to find out that the superstroke putter grip I have is not compatible with their standard sensor which lead to me not be able to use the sensors. Nowhere in the initial sign up or communication was this mentioned so this lead to more delays and frustration. - when their team tried to send me the putter sensor adaptor while I was on the road to make up for the errors above, the "overnight shipping" took closer to 5 days so the shipment completely missed me while I was on the road and had to have their team send me a separate shipment. That also took closer to 5 days and missed yet another round of golf. - once I received the putter sensor, the instructions were not included so I had to google how to install since it wasn't self explanatory. - after all sensors were paired and ready, I finally got excited to use them but found out after the round that my pitching wedge somehow unpaired and recorded zero data for that round. had to repair after that round. Also lots of missed putts and mis recorded info. - once I repaired the pitching wedge and confirmed all other clubs were paired correctly, I finally got to go into a round knowing everything was paired. At least I thought that was the case... yesterday I played a round and the round was 6 strokes off and it didn't even record my first tee shot of the day. - I gave it my all with these things but after a terrible experience and exhausting all my patience, I am cancelling. I hope they can figure out how to avoid these issues for existing and future clients.

I had Arccos and the link. I just got the Apple Watch series 9. When I golf I use the link to track my shots and turn gps off on my watch. The gps is through the link and my phone. My iwatch is mirroring the phone and I get all the distances and everything on it. I only used 20% battery on 18 holes and still had 80% left for the rest of the day.

My favorite course at Bandon is whatever one I’m playing that day. As I am getting older I think Sheep Ranch gives older people an opportunity to play at Bandon Dunes they might not be able to get at the other course. Is it the best course there, no, it is an easy walk with spectacular views.

I think your totally wrong about range finders under $200. I've purchased the RedTiger range finder for $93 with slope, and it performs just as well or better than the $350 Bushnell it replaced. Also, you're dead wrong about not needing a slope mode. I only shoot my target in slope mode and the variance that your eye may not detect is a huge factor. What a terrible reviewer!

Thank you for a good review. But I might have a stupid question. I have invested in the garmin s70, and planned to buy the CT10 sensors. But I just bought a new set of Cobra club sets. And through that got a set of Arccos sensors. So my question is. Can I mount the Arccos sensors on my clubs and then later switch to the CT10? Or will the ends of the grips be too damaged to hold them?
@breakingeighty
@breakingeighty 2 күн бұрын
Not a stupid question at all! If your clubs came with the sensors (not the built in Arccos grips), then you'll have no problem switching them out when/if you decide to get CT10 sensors. If they came with the Arccos Smart Grips, then there's no hole at the butt of the clubs, so you won't be able to use the CT10s with those.

@@breakingeighty thx a lot. The sensors where sent free of charge after purchase of clubs. (I paid for postage) So will try them on, in the free trial period. But will probably switch to CT10, so I can have all info in my Watch. Thx again for the answer, and for your great contents on this channel.

Love this video.. So if you use the Arcoss with a new Apple Watch, the Link Pro then becomes virtually unnecessary, correct? I don't see what the need would be to buy the Link Pro is using the watch
@breakingeighty
@breakingeighty 3 күн бұрын
Yep, that's correct. Only major reason I could see using it is if you wanted to save battery life on your watch - but I don't know that I'd buy a Link Pro just for that.

nothing too original here. My best golf gifts/purchases in 30 years of golf. 1) Zippo heatbank 9s rechargeable hand warmers. 2) Stepkick caddy by Bronwcyk (keeps your clubs/grips dry if you need to carry a few clubs near the green... you don't have to lay them on the ground. I have no association with the makers of these products. Both available on Amazon. Most golfers have their preferences in golf equipment... give them $$'s and let them buy what THEY want... not what you think would be a good idea.

Have you done any direct head to head test between the Voice Caddy TL1 and the V6 shift, Cobalt Q-6, or Titan Elite. I have a Q-6 and one of Bushnell’s former top of the line golf rangefinders and was testing them vs the TL1 and was finding the TL1 consistently from beyond 100 yards at least 2-3 yards different from the other two. I dunno if this is the right word but it also seemed to me to have a bit more trouble with something in the background behind the flag than the other two. I’m not sure whether to keep it or not. The optics are outstanding and the magnet appears to be pretty strong

Based on your reviews, I took a serious look at the Jones brand for a new golf bag. When I went to their site, I saw that they have non-returnable Blind Draw bags for a fraction of the regular price. I took a shot and ended up with a well-made bag at a fantastic price. The color turned out to be kind of a dark-ish olive green, which is a really cool color that I am very happy with. Thank you for your great reviews!

can you leave your phone in your bag if youre wearing the watch for arccos?
@breakingeighty
@breakingeighty 4 күн бұрын
Yes. If you're using a watch and have watch shot tracking turned on, you don't need your phone at all. This just eats a lot more battery life. If you're using the phone for shot tracking, and the watch just for marking pins and gps data, then you'll still need your phone on you.
@Kizinky
@Kizinky 4 күн бұрын
@@breakingeighty can you use a Link Pro for Shot tracking and Watch for GPS, and an actual rangefinder for yardages for the best battery life experience?
@breakingeighty
@breakingeighty 4 күн бұрын
@@Kizinky You can use the Link Pro for shot tracking, and obviously a rangefinder regardless. Doing that should help battery life with the watch for sure. But if it's an older Apple Watch (prob series 6 or 7 or earlier), even without shot tracking it may still have a big impact on battery.

My buddy just purchased the Bushnell X3. That thing is built like a tank. Everything about it is great, except it has one major flaw that isn’t mentioned here. Because they put so much into, the bite magnet on the side of it isn’t strong enough to keep the range finder attached to the cart. The weight of the range finder is just too heavy. It had fallen off the cart 3 times since he bought it. He was even off the cart path when it happened. Now he has to keep it inside the cart all the time. That has steered me away from wanting to purchase it. Outside of that, the optics and accuracy are amazing.
@breakingeighty
@breakingeighty 4 күн бұрын
Good insight! I haven't had that issue personally with the X3, but it definitely is one of the bigger/heavier rangefinders out there. Build quality is best out there.

I bought this set last year, and I've taken them to the range about 30 times. The irons/hybrid are excellent. They are light, and the center of the face has a TON of pop. When you juggle/bounce a ball on the short-irons, and you hit the center of the face, WOW. The ball just GOES. But the driver is very weak, (only goes 20-25 yards further than the 4h) and the putter (for ME) is simply TOO HOT. You will send a LOT of shorter putts wayyyyy too far. I'd recommend just buying the irons/hybrids, and get a different putter/woods.

Ive had the mevo + now for 6 months. Agree with all your positive comments. Im very happy with the results, very happy also with no subsciptions. That is a real winner in my books. I have the space which was great as im left-handed and trying to play with both lefties and righties with a side on machine doesnt work well. I dont find setting up or connecting to devices an issue at all. But im using at home in the same space. I have it marked out on the floor. My criticism is with putting and chipping. These arent very reliable at all. A regular scenario is 2-4 metre put which i can do in real life given the distance from hitting mat to net. But the sim has me making a 20m put off the green. Or a lob shot chipping beside a green that i hit in to the top of my net but sim shows 1.2m ball flight off ground and because of swing speed instead of a 10m flop shot i hit a 40m stinger. So its not perfect but still does a pretty good job
