The problem is that make figures that nobody wants character that nobody cares for they like make too many one character you're not the Star Wars it also Marvel the whole Hasbro brand they make so many figures to be honest nobody will pay for a star wars or marvel at that high price bro star wars vintage collection go almost about 20

To Chris at Bantha Skull: for heaven's sake will you please stop bashing and mocking people who don't follow your advice to back early?! They are not stupid, they are just choosing to back at the time they are happy with. Imagine a future campaign where everyone takes your advice and backs early, but that a significant number of those backers only want it with all tiers. Let's say we get to the last but one tier with 20 days still to go, but then there are no more, or very few, backers, because they all took your advice. In the last day there is no spike, again, because they all backed early. Then in the last hours it becomes clear that all tiers won't unlock, all those who only want it with all tiers start cancelling (as you suggest) - we might see a dip in the last days rather than a spike. All (successful) HasLabs have followed the same pattern, just accept it is what it is, sure you can encourage people to back early, maybe even point out the potential advantages to the campaign, but stop bashing people please, this is causing division within the community.

Great video it’s great talking about this kind of stuff about Star Wars and the vintage collection and we do have a great community but hasbro are not really making enough figures from the vintage collection but they do make more figures from the black series so why is that and that’s is why some collectors are not happy with hasbro because they always make mistakes and not doing enough with the vintage collection

I am not familiar with your channel. I follow other more broad toy channels and Tim Bossk’s channel. I am surprised I didn’t hear the cost $399 and $499 mentioned. Or, I am a GI Joe collector, as well as MOTU, but too many Haslabs in a row is hard financially.

A fantastic round up of the whole Haslab experience. Really pleased myself that its finally coming (albeit next year). Looking forward for welcoming the ghost to my collection now. It's going to be interesting to see what reveals come out of SDCC next weekend. Well done everyone

Great chat and analysis of the Haslab campaign from some of my absolute favourites in the TVC community. Jason is such a funny guy 😂 Only thing I’d like to see addressed is what seems to be a growing rift in the TVC community as there are some commentators out there criticising what they see as an over emphasis on the OT in TVC, caused by a few vocal, but influential individuals at the expense of PT, EU, new media, ST. I dont see it this way at all. Everyone has the chance to participate in March Madness, Last Figure Standing or to create a hashtag/campaign for a figure. Hasbro listens to the majority because that means guaranteed sales so if there was a big swing to ST for instance they would make figures. Some are saying the Haslab was a failure because people don’t want OT in big enough numbers and there’s no way Arliel should take up a slot. This livestream discussed lots of other reasons that the 17k target wasn’t reached and frankly, if Arleil is high in March Madness he will probably be made. The real problem at the heart of this is the limited TVC budget, most of us want figures from across OT, EU, PT, new media, even ST, but we have our own priorities. It saddens me that a rift seems to be being created and some angry exchanges on IG this week, when we all need to be concerted in telling Hasbro, like Augustin says, we want more.

With a shorter window wouldn't that hurt people that get paid monthly. It must have some kind of impact. I've only ever been paid monthly when I was in the army but I'm hearing about a lot of people that are still paid monthly. My brother and I backed 1 each through EB Games in Australia about 8 days before the end because we get paid every two weeks. We just happened to find out about it in time...

Can you switch the heads from the unmasked variant to the original, or is it like the rest of them where you can’t take the head off?

How long do you think they will release the sisters on the alt card retail? We collectors have a little challenge. Do we open right away or wait until retail and just get 2 , 1 for loose.

Some vintage fans are saying this playset isnt the way to go, that you guys are kind of a dying breed and new media would get more sales than this. I personally dont agree. It’s brought me back to this scale and now I will collect some vintage along with black series. Never has a black series collector clicked refresh so much on a VC haslab. I bought 3 deluxe and will be keeping 1.

To play devi’ls advocate if they have a certain amount of items that theyve planned for the year and those items are scheduled to be announced at certain events then if they bump something forward would there not be complaints on that future event at a lack of announcements? If theyd have mentioned luke,han, ben and chewie that could have had fans guessing it was a death star playset who werent in the know. They cant win really. As Bart Simpson says damned if you do and damned if you dont. 😊

2024 July 9 - Holy moly the actual Cantina push at SDCC 2019 in this interview, watching this for first time right now on the day after the Haslab Cantina campaign ended, is truly amazing and inspiring, wow.. And the Hasbro team member’s laugh when you asked “so when is the Cantina coming?”, and he saying that the Cantina is on his mind and stuff. Great video to add to the archives. History was made yesterday!

Schous has to be made eventually now that the bar is backed. He's integral to completing the scene.

For the next Haslab I hope they do a Geonosis Petranaki Arena someday. My biggest SW displays have always been the Barge, the Cantina and the Arena. I have every most modern figure from all 3 of them. The Arena would make my collection the ultimate collection if they ever got around to it. Could release an Orray with a Cart and a Gunship too! Also after seeing the Cantina the Outlander Night Club would be sick too but I don't think they would do that.

I feel like they should've included Ackmena and Chalmun as the base offering along with Wuher that would have been amazing deep cuts that made sense. For Greedo am I the only one that adores the Saga Collection TVC Greedo? I think that one holds up for modern TVC. One of my favorite figures. I don't hear anyone mention it. For Arliel he doesn't seem like such a memorable character to me. I honestly would've preferred an updated Lak Sivrak especially since the potf one is so outdated. He seems like a much more iconic character. Also could've rooted for Melas or Banniss Keeg over Nabrun Leids.

victoria thanks for starting this campaign? i messaged the hasbro because of your interview with the Tonnika sister and said she wanted a figure of herself and her sister who was either sick or passed away at the time and they told me they would forward my message to the appropriate parties at hasbro, this was like last year i think when bossks bounty was doing a march madness bracket?

I think a couple glaring issue so many KZfaqrs are not considering regarding the backing of the bar is the hate toward fans being spewed by LucasFilm and blowback from the abomination known as the Acolyte series. Such things have really turned off many folks to Star Wars!

I've heard many people comment that having a full 45 days wouldn't have made a difference on getting the last tier unlocked. But still, the campaign didn't get the benefit of those extra 15 days. Under the circumstances, it would be nice for Hasbro to throw the last tier in there. But I know it's not gonna happen.

To me the cantina is more of a storage solution for all loose figures I already have and do not fit somewhere else. Much better than just standing on a shelf.

Great chat, Victoria! I believe that due this victory an ANH Death Star will be the next Haslab too. An upscaled version of the old Micro Star Wars would be awesome, but I think that the modular style is more feasible and practical. We will see! Cheers, have a nice week🎉

I've noticed Steve Evans continues to use nebulous language when discussing Wuher and the sisters. Saw a post from him just yesterday or the day before where he says the cantina Haslab is "currently the only way" to obtain those three figures. Seems they refuse to state that backing the cantina will be the absolute ONLY way to secure those three figures, ever. Fear this will cause many people to not back the bar, in hopes that all six figures will be available outside the Haslab eventually.
