I appreciated your commentary which is unusual for me. But it was full of good insight.

one of my favorite guitar players he belongs up there with EVH the US Festival the SCORPIONS played before VH and the scorps weren't wasted then in 89 on the monsters of rock tour VH headlined the the SCORPIONS played just before another great show idk how many times I've seen the SCORPIONS but I was never disappointed hope to see them 1 more time before they hang up the guitars MSG is still touring great music from Germany in the 70s not the early 70s i seen the SCORPIONS video from 71? Klaus had hair and a beard the song was awful i didn't recognize Klaus at 1st anyway thanks for the lesson I'll start on it soon I'm already working on another song i don't like doing too many at one time so thank you

About the only good thing this son could say about his father is he did not ever push me to follow in his foolish soldier footsteps! At least that’s one thing!

Thank you for this post! I’ve enjoyed this song since it came out in 1973. You really break the song down and it’s very easy to pick up. Now I’ve got it!

I’m halfway through the song and I can’t do the hardest section without tabs. Can’t afford the tabs from the third world country. Tough luck

Malcolm, his poor D-string and younger brother, an Aussie who gave the devil guitar lessons, the lunatic on vocals, the third guitarist who forgot two of his strings at home, a metronome on drums, and it’s produced by Vanda and Young? You can say Let There Be Rock’s got it all…

I keep coming back to this tutorial, and if you can pull it off solo, I'm really impressed. Don't forget that we have Dan Peek on six-string playing an arpeggio, and the amazing Gerry Beckley on 12-string. The Musikladen channel has an amazing rendition of this tune, and the guitars are a powerful ensemble. Yours sounds fantastic, BTW. We never get to see the head stock in the vid. What brand?

I've seen Ronson use the Ebow for those killer sustaining single note runs. This is an extremely emotional song for me. It's just perfect. It makes me weep when I hear it.

That is much more accurate than most of the other lessons.....Billy wouldn't march up and down the fretboard, when you can get the same sound in the box....well done!

Ever notice those from this era have some studio version that they never play live themselves? I think I know why that is "Studio Musicians" helped them and they bought that work so it belongs to the band artist, but they didn't actually come up with it in its entirety.

So you tuned to EADGCF, that's actually brilliant! I've always struggled with this song in EADGBE. My best take was transposing to B minor: B min G D D sus 2, but you just don't hit the correct inversions. Edit: I was right about the tuning, my ears are still good. One q: when you're up there with the D minor, are you just muting the low E? I played it like 10 12 12 10 0 0 in EADGCF, but x 12 12 10 0 0 works fine too. For the Bb and the F you could use your Jimi Hendrix digit for the bass for extra credit. :D Honestly, in this tuning you can also go x00220 x13320 move shape up to 133200 and then 133000 for that crunchy sus chord. No need for muting, just stay off the low E.
