Is there a way to add labels without including the 0 from the MIN(0)? Would like to be able to show the values from the bars but it’s too messy when it includes the 0s
@golden_insights7 күн бұрын
Yes, you can adjust the axis to show the correct values on the left while maintaining the structure of the whole rounded bar. I have a video where I make the adjustment to the axis (3:36 mark). kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e7FpZpZ5prGsoKM.html&ab_channel=GoldenInsights Also, if you don't want to show 0 at all you can give the axis a fixed start at 1 so the first tick will be the amount of your tick intervals. Let me know if I misunderstood your question!

Hi there, thank you for this video. Is there any way we can achieve collapse functionality using set actions? For example e.g. on fully expanded version, if we click on state it should collapse,if click on state again then expands. Basically if expanded then next click should collapse and if collapsed the next click should expand. After clicking on Massachusetts for eg. it will show cities, but again after clicking on Massachusetts it should hide/collapse cities. I tried parameter actions as well but no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi! That's a great question, my best guess is a combination of set and parameter actions but let me look into that and get back to you :)

Super simple and easy to follow! Thanks! I put navigation buttons on top of the rounded boxes to make them more visually appealing on the dashboard I'm working on.

Thank you :) Adding navigation buttons on top of the rounded boxes is a great idea! I use them for filters, parameters, and working on a video right now about adding shadows using these rounded boxes! If you have any suggestions for future videos or topics you’d like me to cover, I’d love to hear them

Exactly what I was looking for. Is there a way to get rid of the red lines? I believe its the annotation line
@golden_insightsАй бұрын
Yes, there is! You can create an empty text box with no background color and resize it to be the same size as the dashboard. Layer it in front of the container (so users can't click on the container causing the red lines) but behind any visuals (so users can still interact with the visuals). But if you're going to publish the dashboard, don't worry about the red lines, here's a visual where I use annotations to create a background template (similar to this video) on the server and you can click in the containers without seeing red lines 😊 public.tableau.com/app/profile/samantha.cohn/viz/TableauBackgroundEasyRoundedCornerBoxesLayout/Dashboard1

This is super helpful - thank you so much for the quick vid on a dynamic fix! Here's to hoping they'll eventually incorporate this feature into Tableau itself. 🥲
