Hi Buddy, I did the same route with Follow Alice a month before you guys did. Contrary to what some moaning Minnies on here might have posted, I think its a great film record of the journey. The Baranco Wall footage was really good IMO. I remember every step and rock cranny so I enjoyed the close up shots. It was great seeing my old pal William 'knock knock' and also the legend Francis( was he wearing the sunglasses I gave him?😃) Did he tell you about his trial for the porter job when he was younger? Apparently there were about 700 trying out for a few porter jobs and it was quite simple. They all lined up at base camp at Barafu and the fastest few would be selected. He did it in around 3:30 and he was one of the 5/6 fastest😲. But they're all amazing. On to the next adventure 👍

I leave this Thursday for the same route. Apprehensive but excited. I've done all the training so I know I can physically do it but the altitude is the only unknown.

That’s fantastic! I felt exactly the same. Despite what some might say, it’s really important to be physically and mentally prepared. And leave the rest to providence. Don’t forget to make new friends and have fun along the way. All the best to you and looking forward to seeing a video too!

Apprehension is a useful ingredient to fuel you on😊. I felt the same a few weeks ago but summitted 3 weeks ago via the same route. Stay safe and enjoy!

Having completed the same route just a couple of days ago it has given me incentive to get off my backside and put my own video together. Good job.

the way your camera swings around, really brings on vertigo! not a nice effect at all. the fish eye is annoying.

No filter, effects or fish eye lens in my video. If you have vertigo, mountains (videos) are probably not for you. I’ll remember to do a pirouette on my next summit. 😅

Awesome adventure there, mate! Something that is definitely on the bucket list. Mum and Dad were there around the same time. I am surprised I did not see them in your photos. Hmmm. Maybe I Blinked :-)

Thanks, glad you like it. Gotta do it sooner than later. I didn't see anyone who looked like you (or vice versa) along the trek.
