Thanks for sharing the recipe! The reason they say to add the liquids first is because of the mechanical way these machines knead the dough, there's a high possibility that unmixed flour sticks to the wall and never gets mixed in. The liquids keep the dry ingredients from sticking as a barrier.

Hello Farmhouse BC! I live in Ontario and this morning I found you!!!!! I am so excited to watch what you make by doing Primitive items and you offer free patterns. I have just sat and watch 3 videos and not sure where to find the patterns or even if they are still free? Hope to hear back from you. Lorraine

Welcome Lorraine!! Yes, all the patterns are free under the videos that offer them, there are links that open up directly to the PDF and you just download and print them, look under the video description under the title of the video, under "....more", click that and scroll down to the links.I have a few friends from Canada, so glad to have another one :)

@@nicolamoore9174 you made my day!❤️ I love recycling! We have a great thrift store down the road, I get jeans extra extra large for .75 cents and weave them into rugs and placemats. This week I got 8 yds of cotton heavy cloth for $3 and weaving 3 small rugs. Loving this cool weather. Thank you again for the kind words. ❤️❤️

This is a cool idea!! Has anyone had trouble with the hummingbird’s claws/toes snagging and getting caught?
@FarmhouseBC2 ай бұрын
Not that I know of, that is why I mentioned in the video I don't wrap the bar for that very reason because I had a finch that got it's claw stuck in a jute basket and well, it did not end well. I haven't seen the Hummingbirds land on the top of the ring, only the swing part and I have been doing this for years.

I want to try making this doll but when I went to purchase stuffing the only options were recycled polyester or wool. I'm guessing if you want to dry things in the oven that only the wool stuffing would be suitable? But is wool like the alpaca you mentioned...can it get infested? So many newbie questions! Sorry! 😶😶😶
@FarmhouseBC3 ай бұрын
I’ve switched to all natural raw cotton for stuffing. I believe the link is below the video. In my other prim videos on the craft playlist I share why I no longer use wool or alpaca for stuffingI would never consider poly, I try to use only natural textiles. The little yarn I used wouldn’t really cause moths to infest. They like to bury themselves inside fabric where it’s dark. I have other prim patterns and such in my craft playlist. Please be sure and check them out. They are also free and you are able to download them without having to sign up to newsletters and blogs. I love newbies, I still get so excited as if I was a newbie every time I do it prim project. Thank you for taking the time to watch and most important to comment, that really helps my channel and if you have any more questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help but again, please check out my craft playlist. There are more prim projects that I’m hoping you will enjoy 😉

Should the grains be soaked before using them in the bread machine? Also, does anything special need to be done when making bread machine bread with freshly milled wheat berries?
@FarmhouseBC3 ай бұрын
No the grains don’t need to be soaked unless you’re doing sprouted grains. Whole other ball game. I grind my dry wheat berries right before making bread otherwise the nutrients start depleting. You can choose to sift the bran or keep them after grinding. I tend to feed the bran to the chickens when I make bakery cakes and such otherwise I leave the bran in the bread, no sifting needed.

I didn't think about that! If they come up, I will do a follow-up video on their progress.
