Good to know the Black Magic rounds run through the 1301. I haven't tried any 3" shells through mine. Heavy 2.75" recoil fairly stoutly so I expect the heaviest Brenneke 3" will be punishing. Next time I'm at the range I'll have to compare the DDupleks Steelhead slugs vs the Brenneke KOs.

Oh, I had plenty of gear - I had been riding for seven days in nearly 100°F heat and had passed Tuscon and Phoenix the day before. Despite long pants and boots and full helmet, I didn't have a jacket or gloves to cool off at this moment and I had only taken it off twenty minutes before, but shit happens and it did when I didn't have it.

Big no no leaving the bike especially if you hadnt seen anyone in a while. If you find yourself often riding in very remote places id highly suggest getting a zoleo or garmin increach. I do adventure riding and having one really gives me a safety net when im miles out in the desert since even low speed spills can be so so dangerous, ive seen way too many people break there leg in similar tip overs.

You are a beast. I love shooting my 1301T with low recoil 2 3/4" loads. So soft I could do it all day. Low recoil loads it shoots super soft with the gas operated action. Full power 2 3/4 loads not so much. 1 3/8 ounce slugs at 1500 fps? No thanks!

I purchased an $170 dollar H&R Pardner pump shotgun back in 2018. A year later, I took it to the range for it's first shots and after about 25 - to 40 rounds of mixed shells including those Brenneke Bear loads.....the shotgun fell apart. The weld that held the barrel to the reciever seperated...😐😐😐 I believe it was those bear loads that did it in......will not purchase a cheap shotgun again.....
@OutSciEd
@OutSciEd 3 ай бұрын
While these kick like a mule... we are still talking pressures well into the range of a shotgun... FAR lower than a rifle. That's just inexcusable for <50 rounds to have a shotgun fall apart! $170 isn't even that much cheaper than some Mossberg you can find today...

Great torture test and certainly helps display how mindful you need to be with mud and your 92FS. I know this is years later now, but that scratching on the upper's finish is a great excuse to get the upper electroplated! ;D (Mine's a silver electroplated upper with a black lower and I love the look!)

I was 14 years old and a bicycle paperboy. I remember because I had to fold a hundred papers to deliver on my route. you never forget that image of smoke in the sky splitting in different directions. Now 51, years old, I am watching a 2022 movie on Amazon and had no idea how messed up this was. According to the movie there were a few to blame but I see no one got blamed but some held the guilt with no fault while others moved on with no sense of guilt.

I used to have a Redhawk. I used it for handgun metallic silhouette shooting. After 40 rounds of full power loads (240 to 300 grain) for a single match, it left my thumb bruised. I switched to a Super Blackhawk Bisley. No pain. The shape of the grip makes all the difference. And, since I could never squeeze off two in a row quickly enough to make double-action worthwhile, single action is just fine.

My 44 Redhawk kicks less than the Blackhawk. It balanced different. I have not tried a bisley though.
