krugman and others so called "star economist" are pretty out of the light as they have supported this unsustainable financial system for so long... not every part of it of course, I understand many of the current decisions are based on self interest of particular groups, either way where is the critique and truth telling about the whole story...? nothing.... the us have thanksfuly Prof Jeffrey Sacks and John Mearsheimer to save a little bit of what is to be found as intellectuals in the us.... What a shame.
