Honestly I think its a wait and see situation, I'm still a little skeptical. I see they are shooting for 5000 memberships at $500 a pop. If they hit their target they are sitting at 2.5 million, and suddenly the 1.3 million dollar payout doesn't really look that great. Also, looking at the various leagues for qualification, do you even have 5000 anglers fishing those sanctioned events?

Think yer right in an aspect of that biggie bait --- weed guards. One thing that's proven over many-a-year ... the uglier it is, bass wanna challenge it; somehow, it seems, the uglier = the tastier! Not sure how that works -- maybe ya gotta live in water to see things that way!?! I do wonder though --- That size, does it "need" the weight? : ) Be Safe

That flipping switch is an old school thing. It was fairly popular back in the late 80’s early 90’s. Quite a few reels had those switches. Then they kind of faded out in popularity. I had an old AbuGarcia with a flipping switch and I used several other reels with it. I am not a fan of it myself. I always ended up grinding gears by engaging the reel while the spool was still spinning when I used the flipping switch. I prefer using my thumb, and with experience you can get extremely fast at engaging the reel with the same hand you use to palm the reel.
