For the newbies... are there bypasses for the harder obstacles?
@HTRNF67
@HTRNF67 9 ай бұрын
Yes. We started on the north side and went south on the trail. When we came to the split in the road for the Wall it was very clearly marked that going to the wall was more difficult and required additional equipment.

We were on the Alpine Loop a few days after this video was shot and our rental company wouldn’t allow their jeeps on Poughkeepsie and certainly see why. Hwy 110 out of Silverton and up to the start of Poughkeepsie was probably the best 4 wheeling I’ve ever done. Fantastic video and thanks for sharing ❤

The section of this trail with the Wall was the most challenging part of any trail we found on this trip. We did not take the time to go through the bypass, but I think a stock rig could get through very easy with the bypass. The difficult trail to the wall is very clearly marked when you get to the bypass.

Really the Range Rover is pretty amazing for 5 reasons: 1. Its about a decade older than the Jeep and Bronco. 2. Its doesnt have axle diff locks like they both do. 3. Its on low pro tires and regardless of type they don't get much longer when you air them down. 4. Its tows the same of the Bronco and much more than the Jeep. 5. Its road handling is much better than both. Now if you're a dedicated off-roader the Jeep and the Bronco are better when the going gets tougher beyond the Land Rover's traction control aid and the lack of articulation that it has with fully independent air suspension. Still considering the five things I named (especially the first 1st and 2nd ones) it's pretty damn good and when going on things that the Jeep and Bronco mad look as if you need a Jeep or Bronco to do then this fancy little Range Rover walks right up it. Now imagine if you put aftermarket lockers and found a way to put much thicker rubber on the Range Rover...

Owning my second Range Rover and having actually bashed my first one around a lot on trails lol, I love seeing others actually using them off road too! People can preach all they want about independent suspension and articulation. I had a great time and loved how gracefully they climb obstacles! All in maximum luxury lol
