I miss this aesthetic. It was in commercials, phone/console UI, your school textbooks, and more. I know these design aesthetics are meant to change with time, but I'm kind of glad that's the case. It creates these time capsules of shared experiences that you can go back and re-experience. This makes me want to load up Mirror's Edge and relax.

As soon as I heard this song start in ShaiiValley's video, I was instantly hit with a wave of nostalgia. The type that makes you stop dead in your tracks just to process it. I thought to myself, "Man I haven't heard this song in AGES" and immediately paused Shaii's video to seek it out. But when I found this upload, I noticed that it was only uploaded a year ago, and I had actually never listened to this song before. Now I'm sitting here questioning everything. Is this song heavily inspired by an older song that I don't remember? Was this song first uploaded back in the early 2000's? How does this song make me feel such a strong wave of nostalgia when I've never even heard it before? It's... literally comforting.

ah yes the atmosphere of waking up at 4 am, it's summer, you surprisingly had enough sleep, so you decide to start functioning at this moment the sun is only starts to set, the sky is brightly orange and you still can see some stars and moon here, small amount of clouds try to close these awkward pieces of space light to make you focused on sun you smell the trays of night rain through open window some cars ride below you, buildings around are pitch black because of early morning young lighting you make yourself some tea you feel great you want to live

This is such a beautiful song. Reminds me of 2005-2012 where everything had this bright, technology-positive, bright blue sky feeling to it. And the little white cube creature to the right in the picture gives it this childhood, soft and playful feeling. Obviously it's called Frutiger Aero now but it's super nostalgic and makes me emotional listening to it and I'm not sure if what I'm feeling is just nostalgia. Like it's something that was lost even though it never happened. I kind of feel like with the simplicity now we got the bad ending. I wish we could go back to this being our goal again rather than what corporations deem is "convenient." I miss design and it's relation to our world being fun.

if i were you? i would make the song shorter...less repetitions more melody. Its great. But its a bit too 2005 housey....make it shorter. And let the melodies shine. You put a lot of work into them obviously? WHy drag them out?

Yeah I understand what you mean, but tbh I was lowkey going for the mid 2000’s ish house vibe since I get a lot of inspirations from artists like deadmau5, Eric prydz and so on. But I really appreciate the feedback and will try to differentiate alittle more often 🙌
